Wuhan Coronavirus Outbreak: Its Location in the Pandemics and Epidemics of Last 100 Years and in Prophecy

1/24/2020

A SARS-like virus that has begun exactly 63 (7 x 9) years after the start of the Asian Flu of 1957-58.

It's a bit ironic, but I was about to post a prediction that Ebola would emerge as a possible pandemic in 2021 when I discovered the current Wuhan Coronavirus crisis in China was (and is) becoming a highly lethal pandemic. Originally the last vector for such a menace originating in Asia was 2013, but when I posted that one instead, out of Africa, came the Ebola Pandemic of 2014-16 ... arriving one year late. As that was a dream as well as a projection, I still feel I must post the possibility of that occurring again.

The basis of the original prediction for a 2013 pandemic, which I might have next posted again for this year, 2020, if not for the Ebola scare of 2014 seemingly changing the year to 2021, goes back quite some time ago in our world history.

The basis for a pandemic coming out of Asia in 2013 or 2020 was the Asian Flu of 1957-58.

So while we are on the subject, let us review the deadly pandemics of the 20th Century and 21st Century and their base 7 impacts, if any:

The 1918 influenza pandemic or Spanish flu

Picture
The most lethal pandemic in recent history caused by the Influenza (H1N1) virus. It infected 500 million people worldwide, between 50 and 100 million died. Originating in East Asia, a respiratory illness that struck northern China in November 1917 was identified a year later by Chinese health officials as identical to the Spanish flu. The mobilization of 96,000 Chinese laborers to work behind the British and French lines might have been the source of the pandemic. Allied soldiers and sailors then became the main disseminators of the infection. In the United States, the disease was first observed in January 1918. By March 1918, the virus had reached Queens, New York. In August 1918, a more virulent strain appeared simultaneously in Brest, France; in Freetown, Sierra Leone; and in the U.S. in Boston, Massachusetts. It moved from France to Spain in November 1918. In the U.S., about 28% of the population became infected, and 500,000 to 675,000 died. The pandemic mostly killed young adults. The outbreak was widespread in the summer and autumn even though influenza is usually worse in winter.
I predicted a similar pandemic would return in September 2009:
"10/14/08 -- A variation of the Avian Flu virus will become extremely volatile and infect large numbers of people in September 2009. It will be difficult to contain and will spread quickly from nation to nation, becoming the worst pandemic since 1918. 25 million shall perish and over 200 million entire in the world population will fall ill, many seriously, some suffering from various afflictions months after throwing off the virus. Pneumonia will be a common problem for those who get over this pestilence, and some of these will die as well. The virus will not be completely contained until 2011."
The projected pandemic arrived pretty much on schedule although it was not the plague that prophet Anton Johansson predicted would kill "25 million":

2009 flu pandemic or Swine Flu

Picture
It lasted from early 2009 to late 2010, and the second of the two pandemics involving H1N1 influenza virus (the first of them being the 1918–1920 Spanish flu pandemic), albeit in a new version. First described in April 2009, the virus appeared to be a new strain of H1N1 which resulted when a previous triple reassortment of bird, swine and human flu viruses further combined with a Eurasian pig flu virus, leading to the term "swine flu". It is estimated that 11-21% of the global population contracted the illness, and 579,000 (over half a million) died.

The virus was first reported in two U.S. children in March 2009, but health officials have reported that it apparently infected people as early as January 2009 in Mexico. The outbreak was first detected in Mexico City on 18 March 2009; immediately after the outbreak was officially announced, Mexico notified the U.S. and World Health Organization, and within days of the outbreak Mexico City was "effectively shut down."
On 11 June 2009, the new strain of H1N1 influenza was declared to be a global pandemic (Stage 6) by the WHO after evien.wikipedia.org/wiki/Influenza_pandemicdence of spreading in the southern hemisphere. The 13 November 2009 worldwide update by the WHO stated that "as of 8 November 2009, worldwide more than 206 countries and overseas territories or communities have reported [503,536] laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1 2009, including over 6,250 deaths."
The pandemic began to taper off in November 2009, and by May 2010, the number of cases was in steep decline. On 10 August 2010, the Director-General of the WHO, Margaret Chan, announced the end of the H1N1 pandemic, and announceen.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_flu_pandemicd that the H1N1 influenza event has moved into the post-pandemic period.
I predicted a possible return of the virus might happen in 2016, seven years later, but it did not materialize.

Asian Flu (1957–1958)

The "Asian Flu" was a category 2 flu pandemic outbreak of avian influenza that originated in China in early 1956 lasting until 1958. It originated from a mutation in wild ducks combining with a pre-existing human strain. The virus was first identified in Guizhou. It spread to Singapore in February 1957, reached Hong Kong by April, and US by June. Death toll in the US was approximately 69,800. The elderly were particularly vulnerable. Estimates of worldwide deaths vary widely depending on source, ranging from 1 million to 4 million.
I predicted "a disease of unknown origin" would cause a deadly pandemic, possibly one of a number appearing in various prophecies, during the October 2006-January 2007 period. The base 7 precedent was The Asian Flu of 1957-58. A pandemic failed to materialize.

On January 30, 2012, I made the same prediction again for the year 2013:
"... If the prophecies of Anton Johansson and Nostradamus have any bite remaining in them, there should be a killer virus that spreads quickly from nation to nation just prior to World War III breaking out in Europe. It will come from out of Asia in February 2013 and reach pandemic levels by June 2013. Johansson claims this plague will kill 25 million people and infect at least 200 million of the world's population. He also predicts that this disease may be a biological weapon.

Likewise, Nostradamus indicates a biological attack from outer space, from the mysterious satellite called Samarobryn.

Could Samarobryn be a military satellite containing biological wafare agents designed by China or Russia to rain its contents on Northern Europe, Canada and the United States? If so, it may be programmed to fulfill its mission in February 2013 ... Many of those infected will suffer from various other afflictions months after throwing off the virus, a deadly bacteria-resistant pneumonia being most prevalent among these. The virus will not be completely contained until March 2014.

Again, I must warn that this plague may occur naturally in the environment as the Swine Flu purportedly did in 2009. But it is also possible this may be caused by biological terrorism or bio-warfare."
Again, the precedent used was The Asian Flu of 1957-58. Nothing happened in 2013, but in 2014 something nearly as frightening did:

Ebola outbreak
Picture
My comments: "In February 2014, exactly one year after the time projected, February 2013, the most serious, horrific, and deadly epidemic and potential pandemic since the Black Death lay waste to Europe in 14th Century began appearing in the West African nation of Guinea, quickly spreading to Liberia and Sierra Leone in March. Since then "isolated" cases of the hemorrhagic disease Ebola have popped up in the United States, Spain, France, the UK, and other parts of Europe. Travel restrictions have been put into place. Quarantines have been enforced on entire towns and cities, including the town of Purdon in the US state of Texas near Dallas.

Although, thus far, Ebola has not been declared a pandemic by WHO, the CDC has declared the disease an international health emergency and placed it at highest alert status. If the deadly virus is not contained, the CDC projected that 1.4 million people may become infected by it by January 2015. The death toll at this time is 5,160."

Western African Ebola virus epidemic

Picture
The Western African Ebola virus epidemic (2013–2016) was the most widespread outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in history—causing major loss of life and socioeconomic disruption in the region, mainly in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. The first cases were recorded in Guinea in December 2013; later, the disease spread to neighboring Liberia and Sierra Leone, with minor outbreaks occurring elsewhere. It caused significant mortality, with the case fatality rate reported which was initially considerable, while the rate among hospitalized patients was 57–59%, the final numbers 28,616 people, including 11,310 deaths, for a case-fatality rate of 40%.

Small outbreaks occurred in Nigeria and Mali, and isolated cases were recorded in Senegal, the United Kingdom and Italy. In addition, imported cases led to secondary infection of medical workers in the United States and Spain but did not spread further. The number of cases peaked in October 2014 and then began to decline gradually, following the commitment of substantial international resources. As of 8 May 2016, the World Health Organization (WHO) and respective governments reported a total of 28,646 suspected cases and 11,323 deaths (39.5%), though the WHO believes that this substantially understates the magnitude of the outbreak.

On 8 August 2014, a Public Health Emergency of International Concern was declared and on 29 March 2016, the WHO terminated the Public Health Emergency of International Concern status of the outbreak. Subsequent flare-ups occurred; the last was declared over on 9 June 2016, 42 days after the last case tested negative on 28 April 2016 in Monrovia.

The 2013–2016 outbreak, caused by Ebola virus (EBOV) was the first anywhere in the world to reach epidemic proportions.
This outbreak could have become a pandemic, but was stopped and quarantined in time. Fears of of it becoming a pandemic were quite high and we may not be so lucky next time.

Thus, out of an Asian Flu precedent, emerged instead an African epidemic.

Hong Kong Flu (1968–1969)

Picture
The Hong Kong Flu was a category 2 flu pandemic caused by a strain of H3N2 descended from H2N2 by antigenic shift, in which genes from multiple subtypes reassorted to form a new virus. The Hong Kong Flu pandemic of 1968 and 1969 killed an estimated one million people worldwide. Those over 65 had the greatest death rates. In the US, there were about 33,800 deaths.
This was the first instance I predicted a global plague with a target date of August 2003 ... and it was based on the Hong Kong Flu precedent.

The reports of that year revolved around the SARS Pandemic. While I initially followed news of SARS, I gave up on featuring it, took down the observation material, and just posted the news links. Still, it should have been considered by me to be a partially successful prediction.

SARS: Severe acute respiratory syndrome

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory disease of zoonotic origin caused by the SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV). Between November 2002 and July 2003, an outbreak of SARS in southern China caused an eventual 8,098 cases, resulting in 774 deaths reported in 17 countries, with the majority of cases in China and Hong Kong (9.6% fatality rate) according to the World Health Organization (WHO). No cases of SARS have been reported worldwide since 2004. In late 2017, Chinese scientists traced the virus through the intermediary of civets to cave-dwelling horseshoe bats in Yunnan province.
Which takes us to the current epidemic:

2019–20 Wuhan coronavirus outbreak

Picture
An outbreak of a novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) was initially identified during mid-December 2019 in the city of Wuhan in central China, as an emerging cluster of people with pneumonia with no clear cause, which was linked primarily to stallholders who worked at the Huanan Seafood Market, which also sold live animals. Chinese scientists subsequently isolated a new strain of coronavirus – given the initial designation of 2019-nCoV – which has been found to be at least 70 percent similar in genome sequence to SARS-CoV. With the development of a specific diagnostic PCR test for detecting the infection, a number of cases were confirmed in people directly linked to the market and in those who were not directly associated with it. Whether this virus is of the same severity or lethality as SARS is unclear ...

As of 24 January 2020, 26 deaths have occurred, all in China, and there is evidence of human-to-human transmission. Extensive testing has revealed over 800 confirmed cases in China, some of whom are healthcare workers. Confirmed cases have also been reported in Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, Vietnam and Nepal.
Technically, I should have projected a return of the SARS virus to occur in 2017 (14 years after the 2003 outbreak), although if I had this ongoing event would have begun over two years late. Still, this would have gone up on the 2017 Predictions as a late repeater.

In any event, regardless of its SARS-like characteristics, The Wuhan Coronavirus IS clearly a REPEAT OF THE ASIAN FLU OF 1957-58.

This should have been solidly posted on the 2020 Predictions page. But I was too late to take notice of this emerging event. Instead I was about to post a repeat of Ebola for 2021 when this outbreak captured my attention ... and then realized that it was aligned to 1957. This is the first actual repeat of Asian Flu although it may become infinitely worse than that disease ever was.

As I have mentioned in my Twitter messages, this could be the disease the prophet Anton Johansson predicted would kill 25 million people worldwide prior to the start of World War III. Even it isn't, it could be the worst thing to happen since 1918.

According to health experts Wuhan coronavirus could kill as many as 65 MILLION PEOPLE WORLDWIDE, 40 million more than Johansson's projected figure.

Health experts issued an ominous warning about a coronavirus pandemic 3 months ago. Their simulation showed it could kill 65 million people.

Emily Wang/AP Photo Eric Toner, a scientist at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, wasn't shocked when news of a mysterious coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China, surfaced in early January. Less than three months earlier, Toner had staged a simulation of a global pandemic involving a coronavirus.

This is a very frightening disease as people have been suddenly dropping dead to the ground or floor.

Coronavirus outbreak: Video shows dead bodies in halls of China hospital

Disturbing new video shows dead bodies piling up in the hallways of a hospital in China, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to spiral out of control. The images from inside Red Cross Hospital in Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the deadly viral outbreak, show covered bodies lining corridors as staffers and patients walk about with masks on their faces.

This is quite similar to A. A. Allen's prophecy of a plague that consumes much of the population in the United States in the summer, just prior to a total nuclear attack by Russia and China:
Suddenly the silence was shattered by the screaming of sirens. The sirens seemed to scream, "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" Never before had I heard such shrill, screaming sirens. They seemed to be everywhere - to the North, South, the East and the West. There seemed to be multitudes of sirens. And as I looked, I saw people everywhere running. But it seemed none of them ran more than a few paces, and then they fell.

I now saw millions of people falling in the streets, on the sidewalks, struggling. I heard their screams for mercy and help. I heard their horrible coughing as though their lungs had been seared with fire. I heard the moanings and groanings of the doomed and the dying.
Indeed, in 2012 health experts warned that a novel coronavirus would emerge like the current one that could root itself deep inside the lungs causing asphyxiation, kidney failure, and death. The experts had a catchy name for this emerging super-virus: The Armageddon virus ... and they expected it to arrive by no later than 2017:

The Armageddon virus: Why experts fear a disease that leaps from animals to humans could devastate mankind in the next five years

Warning comes after man died from a Sars-like virus that had previously only been seen in bats Earlier this month a man from Glasgow died from a tick-borne disease that is widespread in domestic and wild animals in Africa and Asia The symptoms appear suddenly with a headache, high fever, joint pain, stomach pain and vomiting.

Could Wuhan coronavirus be The Armageddon virus? God help us all if it is.

And now you have the most important background on the worst outbreaks and pandemics of the last 100 years: Spanish Flu (1918) repeated in the form of Swine Flu (2009-10), Asian Flu (1957-58) repeated in the form of Wuhan Coronavirus or Novel Coronavirus (2019-20), Hong Kong Flu (1968-69) repeated in the form of SARS (2003) and Ebola (2014-16), yet to repeat.
