Dead or Alive, Al-Baghdadi Can No Longer Be Considered the Sufyani of Islamic Prophecy

While the question of whether Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is alive or dead continues to resonate throughout the news media, CNN reports that reliable information gathered by Kurdish intelligence has confirmed its belief that there is a 99% likelihood that al-Baghdadi is alive and likely hiding out somewhere in Syria. Meantime Iraqi government sources state he was "severely injured" as a result of US airstrikes near Tal Afar and Sinjar. The claim by Moscow that he was killed during a Russian bombing of an ISIS meeting in Raqqa has been proven false and accounts that he is in hiding south of Raqqa also appear to be very unreliable. US officials believe he is likely hiding in "the thousands of miles of desert between ISIS heartlands Mosul in Iraq and Raqqa in Syria."

If he is indeed dead then there is no way he could have been the prophesied end times Sufyani since according to Islamic prophecy the Sufyani is killed by none other than The Mahdi himself ... a figure from the Arabian peninsula who has yet to materialize and to take action. He is not killed by the US or the Russian Federation.

Baghdadi and the IS caliphate began as an almost too-perfect manifestation of the beginning of the Sufyani and his empire. But even then there were problems in interpretation since the Sufyani was supposed to enter Damascus, Syria with 360 "riders" carrying three deadly "staffs" ... and they were supposed to come from the nation of Egypt. Not only that, but he was supposed to take control, not only of Syria, but also all of EGYPT.

As for the pretensions of its other name of ISIL, the IS caliphate should have not only included all of Syria and Egypt, but also nearly all of the rest of the Levant (Lebanon, Cyprus, Israel, Palestine, and a part of Turkey). Instead al-Baghdadi emerged as the heir of the late Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's Islamic State of Iraq, created as a result of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 and subsequent occupation. Following the start of Arab Spring and the initial unrest in Syria, Islamic State in Iraq attracted anti-Assad forces from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and other countries, including regions as far away as Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Islamic State was then created in parts of Syria and northern and western Iraq.

ISIS has also been found active in the Egyptian Sinai since November 2014, but no individual ever came out of the land of Egypt with 360 men to create a caliphate that stretched from Syria in the north to Egypt in the south. And yes, there are Islamic prophecies stating he would take the entire Levant: Egypt, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Syria, and a part of Turkey (Hatay Province). Even that he would conquer Jerusalem. Not even close has the career of al-Baghdadi and his caliphate been.

Now as the IS caliphate crumbles in Raqqa and Mosul the likelihood of an ISIS takeover of Baghdad, at the cost of 100,000 lives, not only appears laughable but so also does the greater prophecy of a Sufyani war with Iran and Afghanistan, destructive attacks in Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and a lingering war in "the Byzantine Empire" (of which Turkey is a major part). Indeed, it is the war in "the Byzantine Empire" that marks the beginning of the Sufyani's end ... a war that is concluded when the Mahdi captures the Sufyani in Syria and executes him beneath a tree in Saudi Arabia. Despite some periodic turmoil in Turkey from the Kurds and from the IS, and a few brief cross border campaigns from Turkey, this final war of the Sufyani, the war in "the Byzantine Empire," has yet to happen.

I would say this much: the war that has played out since 2014 involving ISIS in Syria and Iraq, and also the Syrian Civil War of Bashar al-Assad ongoing since 2011 (actually probably 2012 is more like it), both of which have been enjoined by Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the United States ... this works well as an archetypical conflict that may prefigure a future leader who will actually fulfill the role of the Sufyani. A kind of more than slightly off version of actual prophecy. And who knows? Perhaps ISIS will rebound and do all the things that have not been fulfilled in Islamic prophecy. But I doubt it. The prophecy is fairly clear that al-Baghdadi, if he had been the Sufyani, should have taken control of Syria and Egypt together early on ... like back in 2014. It would indeed be prophecy "out of sequence" if he ever managed to do that in the future after losing so much of Syria and Iraq.

Clearly the end of times as predicted by Islamic prophecy have a long a way to go before they arrive ... likewise with the Christian New Testament "Battle of Armageddon." We should be keeping our eyes instead on the Judaic Old Testament and the Book of Daniel for the time of a great war begun by Persia (Iran and southern Iraq) appears much more imminent with Iranian forces at war with ISIS in Syria and preparing for possible war with Saudi Arabia as the two theocratic regimes battle it out in a lingering proxy war in Yemen.

And besides ... there will be some really big signs in the heavens. And one of these signs I am about to discuss will not happen until 2021, 2022 or even 2023.

Garabandal and the Red Nova

Picture
Earlier (below) I wrote about the Garabandal prophecy regarding The Warning. The idea long held by me was a variation of the "double impact" scenario based on the sci-fi thriller "Deep Impact" (1997) when a comet discovered a year earlier and kept top secret after the discoverer was killed in a road accident was finally revealed to the public. A plan to demolish the comet by astronauts in space fails, and instead two comet fragments are created, both on a collision course with Earth. The Garabandal variation would not only have two comets or comet fragments headed towards our planet, but also towards each other, crashing in space before hitting the earth, sparing the inhabitants at the last terrifying moment.

The one problem with the scenario is that Conchita Gonzales said the event would be "like two stars crashing .. two stars that crash and make a lot of noise." Although comets have often been called "hairy stars" and "bearded stars" in Nostradamus prophecy, they are not stars properly speaking.

So how do two stars crash?

Sometime between September 2021 and September 2022 all of us who are living will find that out. At that time, say astronomers, two binary stars in the constellation Cygnus the Swan (the binary star system is known as KIC 9832227), two stars that revolve around each other, will crash together forming what is known as a "red nova." The result will be the creation of a new star, possibly as bright as magnitude 2 or greater, that will grow increasingly brighter in the heavens over the next six months. It may become one of the brightest objects in the night sky, rivalling Jupiter and Venus in magnitude, or maybe become the most luminous object in the heavens, outshined only by the moon and sun. It is expected that it will be seen in daylight for a few weeks when it reaches its peak brightness. It will not look like a normal star either as it will be surrounded by a halo of debris from the impact of two high energy stars.

The color of the star of course will be red (thus the reason for calling it a red nova). Astronomers have only seen one other red nova star, V1309 Scorpii, in 2008 ... but that one lasted only a few hours and most people on earth never saw it. Interestingly enough, I predicted a nova or supernova would occur in 2008. But it was a sight you would have had to catch at the right time, looking at the right place.

If Conchita can be believed, somehow we will hear and feel the crash of the two stars occur. She emphasises that no one will be harmed by the collision which of course would be correct about the creation of a nova many light years away.

If that is not enough for the year 2022, in October of that year NASA will launch a spacecraft that will collide with a double asteroid system at 3.7 miles per second ... crashing into either Didymos A or Didymos B which will be very close to Earth at the time. Is it possible the double asteroid, which will be nudged out of its orbit by the collision, end up being "nudged" towards an impact on our planet?

It appears that one way or another, 2022 will be a year of prophetic importance in the heavens.
