The Second Pot Boils, Trouble In The East ... Will Van Rensburg Be Right?

To understand this update you must read the article below: "A TIME OF MOURNING: WILL PROPHECIES BE FULFILLED IN THE WAKE OF NELSON MANDELA'S DEATH?" In the above photo of unrest in Italy, students clash with police during a protest against the local government in downtown Turin on December 14, 2013. If we read Siener van Rensburg's prophecy about the great black leader's death and period of mourning, it is difficult to be certain if some of the more disturbing elements occur during the period of mourning, after the funeral ends the period of mourning, or both.  One of these predictions concern "three pots boiling rapidly in Europe." One of these pots that may indeed be the revolution in Ukraine, which began even before Nelson Mandela's death, is still in progress at this writing. Ukraine's turmoil has attracted emissaries from the EU and the United States, especially in light of the president's further strengthening ties between Kiev and Moscow. Senator John McCain has even sounded off in a worrisome militant tone concerning US support for the pro-EU demonstrators in Ukraine and defiance of the Russian Federation.

During the ten days of mourning for Mandela, another pot began to boil over: this time in Italy. Called the "Pitchfork" protests, anti-austerity demonstrators began marching throughout Italy's countryside and towns around December 7, stopping vehicular traffic, commercial and non-commercial, and blocking rail traffic as well, stopping trains. The "pitchfork" nickname arose from the large number of farmers who took part in the initial protests.

Since then the demonstrations have moved into the cities, leading to violent confrontations between the police and protesters in the major cities of Rome, Venice, and Turin. Now the rioters have demanded the resignation of the government to their list of demands. This has caused many officials to express alarm: Interior Minister Angelino Alfano voiced concerns that the unrest could "lead to a spiral of rebellion against national and European institutions."

Thus, two out of three pots are now boiling rapidly within Europe: Ukraine and Italy. What shall the third pot be? Or Will Van Rensburg's prophecy fail to deliver?

The other troubling event that has occurred during the time of mourning for Mandela has been what may soon become a military showdown between China and Japan over the Senkaku Islands, with warnings from Beijing that any US and South Korean military involvement, any American defense of its ally should hostilities break out, would have the most dire consequences for both the United States and South Korea. As one Chinese official put it, such a faceoff would be nothing short of World War III.

This ongoing confrontation in the East China Sea may well be yet another of Van Rensburg's predictions approaching realization which states: "Then comes a round tank in the east and fire falls out of it." Perhaps as good a description of a nuclear naval battle in the Pacific as any, considering the year of the prophecy was 1922.

While US Senator John McCain ratchets up the rhetoric against Russia over the Ukraine demonstrations, Vice President Joe Biden has been fraying the nerves of the Chinese leadership during a recent visit to Beijing. Meantime, China maintains a no-fly zone over the island waters, warning off commercial as well as non-commercial air flights.

Despite the fact that racial violence or strikes have not yet occurred in South Africa since Nelson Mandela's funeral, it is clear we are compelled now to give Siener van Rensburg's overall prophecy a little more time ...

A TIME OF MOURNING: WILL PROPHECIES BE FULFILLED IN THE WAKE OF NELSON MANDELA'S DEATH?

At this writing the ten-day period of mourning following the death of Nelson Mandela has only six days remaining. Rarely does an event such as this one place the work of a major prophet to the test.

Mixed reactions to Nostradamus' 1999 and seven months prophecy remain mixed. Following the destruction of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, the Seer of Waldviertel was quick to point out that his prophecy concerning the destruction of NYC by two atomic devices had NOT been fulfilled in any way by the 911 event and still remained for the future. Despite the appearance of four major naked eye comets since 1996 ... Hyakutake in 1996, Hale-Bopp in 1997, McNaught in 2007, and Holmes in 2007 ... none heralded the death of a figure named Mabus nor fufilled any other Nostradamus comet-related prophecy. Two that had the potential to outshine any of the above, Comet Elenin and Comet ISON, both dissolved into invisible fragments before they could become much of anything visually. With reports of portions of streets and sidewalks in Tokyo, Sendai, and some other Japanese cities sinking under water, backed up by videos, following a massive 9.0 earthquake and monster tsunami off the coast of Honshu on March 11, 2011, it seemed that Edgar Cayce might soon be correct concerning his prophecy about Japan disappearing beneath the ocean. At best, we can say that his prophecy was partially fulfilled or at least, was off to a good start.

Now the long-dreaded time of Nelson Mandela's death has arrived. Why it has been dreaded for so long has to do with a prophecy by a South African visionary known as Siener van Rensburg, sometimes simply called The Seer van Rensburg. His prophecy describes a series of cataclysmic events that are supposed to occur during the time of mourning of a famous and beloved black leader of South Africa whose statue stands as a landmark in his honor while he is still living. Most everyone has agreed over the many years that this person could be only man: Nelson Mandela.

I will now post this prophecy I received from a South African viewer who went by the name of "Kobus" via email back in 2003, over ten years ago.

Before sending it to me he wrote: "I don't know if you've ever heard of "Seer van Rensburg"? He is a very famous Boer prophet. Anyway, he predicted that around the time that a black man that was imprisoned for a long time, and achieved great fame would die (probably Mandela), the country would erupt in violence ..."

I asked him to send along the prophecy, which he did.
The raw emailed prophecy sent to me was never posted on my site and instead I posted a review of it with our interpretations and those of Adriaan Snyman included in the text. The prophecy itself, translated from Afrikaans without interpretations, was lost when the computer I had purchased in 1998 crashed. What follows here is the review (which can also still be seen on my website on page 2003 Part Four :

Seer van Rensburg Warns Violent Death of Nelson Mandela Will Be Sign of Great War in Southern Africa and the World

Did a South African prophet foresee a coming "war within a war" -- a horrific conflict that would spread throughout Southern Africa, both civil and international in nature, during a time when a greater war (World War III) would plague humanity?

The Seer van Rensburg, a Boer native of South Africa foresaw many events that would happen to his country during his lifetime. He also saw the imprisonment of Nelson Mandela, the end of apartheid and Mandela's release, his rise to power and his alliances with Russia, Eastern communist nations, and certain Arab states (Mandela's successor, Thabo Mbeki, has continued the policy and is taking sides with Iraq in the current crisis). His final vision concerned the death of this great South African black leader, seven days of mourning, and the war to follow.

Picture
Van Rensburg sees the statue of a black man topple, falling backward. According to some interpreters, such as Adriaan Snyman, this indicates that the man will die a violent or unnatural death. A goose then emerges from the statue's mouth and flies to the East. This identifies the black man who has died as being Nelson Mandela due to the Eastern alliances he made while in power. A train of thousands upon thousands of black people comes from out of the West, suggesting that blacks from distant lands will come to attend the funeral.

The statue of the great man is toppled. The prophet goes on to say that the black leader will lie in state on Church Square in Pretoria in a glass coffin. No one will work for seven days throughout South Africa. The nature of the mourning, its sense of bitterness and unrestrainable grief, suggests that the leader may be a victim of assassination. Afterwards, on the eighth day, he will be buried in Heroe's Acre.

The great man's coffin is lowered into the ground, and fires issue forth from the sides and one large one blazes near the front of the tomb. Then naked people appear -- the poor and those who will mourn in tribal tradition. According to Snyman, the fires indicate violence breaking out in South Africa and the large one in front full-scale civil war. It is also quite possible that the large fire may portend a great war in southern Africa, including nations like Zimbabwe and Angola. Van Rensburg, elsewhere, specifically mentions a massive strike crippling the country at the time of the black leader's violent death.

During this period of strikes and internal violence, the Seer sees a slaughtered sheep hanging on a hook, a sign that the strike is evolving into civil war. Then he sees omens of world war: three pots boiling rapidly in Europe, a ditch with blue water, and women dressed in black coming out of Europe to mourn. Then comes "a round tank in the east and fire falls out of it." All of this to happen or begin happening during the seven days of mourning.

The Seer in his mystical trance sees himself in the vision at table, dividing a tart, and seeing silver letters appear on a shining sheet of tin. They are from Psalm 12:6: "The words of the Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times."

The tart is what remains of South Africa after civil war. It becomes further divided, until it reaches extinction. The Biblical admonition indicates that the nation will literally enter the furnace of hell -- or at least enter into very dark and horrid times.

There are a number of unsettling things that have occurred, or are occurring, that suggest this prophecy may come true. Remember that the worst of this prophecy does not happen until the last three days of mourning.

First off, it was Snyman who interpreted the toppled statue as meaning that Nelson Mandela would die violently. And of course Mr Mandela did not die from violence, but died of natural causes at age 95. However, a strange coincidence has occurred three days into the nationwide and worldwide mourning of Nelson Mandela. We cannot, however, mention this coincidence without addressing another prophecy within this prophecy: that of "the three pots boiling rapidly in Europe."

I believe these three pots boiling in Europe are REVOLUTIONS and, even worse, possible civil wars. One of these pots began to boil only a few days before Nelson Mandela's death: the protests that have turned into a new orange revolution in Ukraine. Roughly half of the people there are on the side of Ukraine joining the EU and have thus taken a stand against the government of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. The other half of Ukrainians fear sharing the economic woes and austerity the Eurozone has been experiencing since 2010 and support the Yanukovych regime. Many Ukraine watchers believe there is a danger of the revolution turning into civil war, with East Ukraine pitted against West. Yesterday, pro-EU supporters turned their wrath eastwards towards Russia ands its leader Vladimir Putin because Putin has been pressuring Yanukovych to keep Ukraine out of the EU and maintain close ties with Moscow instead, ordering the Ukrainian president to bring an end to the street protests.

This brings me to mention the coincidence concerning the statue toppling in Van Rensburg's prophecy. What if the toppled statue is linked to the three pots boiling over in Europe and not to Mandela??

Yesterday, protesters in Ukraine knocked down a statue of Vladimir Lenin in outrage over the Ukrainian government's push for closer ties with Russia. CNN reports "A crowd of cheering protesters chanted "Good job" after the statue fell in Kiev's Bessarabska Square.

"Some pounded the monument with hammers, leaving pieces of the statue scattered on the ground. Only parts of the Soviet hero's legs remained at the base. A man waving a Ukrainian flag stood atop the pedestal beside them."

Lenin statue toppled in Ukraine protest
This may or may not be the statue in the prophecy, but it is an eerie coincidence which may or may not portend something happening to Mandela's statue.

Yes, there is no doubt about it: one of the boiling pots is Ukraine. No doubt, that is, if two more boiling pots are to follow.

A second potential boiling pot, Bulgaria, has been in and out of protests, protesters recently declaring that they wish to link their antigovernment demonstrations with those marching in the streets of Kiev. Whether or not this will play out is uncertain.

"The black leader will lie in state on Church Square in Pretoria in a glass coffin."

That is as good as fulfilled.

Thousands to line the route as funeral set to eclipse Diana's

Daily Mail 7 December 2013

Nelson Mandela’s funeral cortege will travel through the streets of South Africa’s capital for three consecutive days ahead of his burial. In what will be remarkable scenes, thousands of mourners are being urged by the government to line the route and ‘form a public guard of honour’.

The cortege will leave a military hospital on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings to go to the Union Buildings in Pretoria, the official seat of government and administrative capital, where Mr Mandela will lie in state in a glass-topped coffin.

There, South Africans will have the opportunity to file past his body and say a final farewell, but, amid tight security, they will not be allowed to bring phones or cameras inside. ‘We call on members of the public to co-operate with the authorities to ensure that this event is dignified and secure,’ said government minister Collins Chabane yesterday.

In a state funeral that may even eclipse that of Princess Diana in 1997, world leaders will arrive in South Africa this week for the ‘ten-day remembrance’  of the former president.

Then, of course, is the issue of a possible civil war plaguing South Africa after Mandela is buried. To this end, there are many fears this may happen:

Anxious and conflicted: Afrikaners await a post-Mandela world

Many are grateful to his reconciliation of the races, but some of the white minority still express fears of a 'night of the long knives'

The Observer, Saturday 7 December 2013 18.00 EST

The great majority of Afrikaners (white peoples of predominantly Dutch, German and French Huguenot ancestry) interviewed by the Observer in Benoni, a former gold-mining town east of Johannesburg, expressed sorrow at (Mandela's) loss and admiration for his ability to bridge the nation's racial divide.

But several also spoke of a deep-rooted fear that Mandela's death could dismantle the social pact of 1994 and lead to persecution, or worse, of the white minority. And a small fraction echoed the views of the marginal rightwingers who yearn to rekindle racial apartheid.

"I didn't agree with any of his opinions or statements on things," said Dirk Smit, walking through Benoni's nondescript town centre with his girlfriend. "In general, I would say the country is not better than it was in 1994. It's much worse. Crime is just ridiculous, healthcare is terrible now – you can't use public systems any more – and the roads are bad. The poor are still poor and life for the middle class has gone backwards."

And the rainbow nation? "There's still a division between the races in this country. You go to any function and see the people are split. I have some black friends, but 99% of my friends are white because we share the same culture."

There has long been an urban myth, fanned by the internet in recent years, that Mandela's death would be the trigger for a so-called "night of the long knives" in which whites would be wiped out. Some, it is said, have undergone military training to defend themselves and have even stockpiled cans of food in bunkers ...

Andre Visagie, 59, a farm owner and leader of the Covenant People Republicans, a group which is seeking independent republics for each "nation" of people in South Africa, warned: "We foresee there will now be an accumulation of violence against white people. Anarchy will become a regular thing. Our advice to people is don't get involved in conflict; take your firearms and shoot your way to safety as a last resort."

Of course there are more aspects to Van Rensburg's prophecy that remain a mystery: the "ditch with blue water" and the "round tank in the east" with fire that falls out of it. One note concerning the latter: perhaps it has something to do with the following article: China-Japan Conflict Could Lead to World War III, Warns Former UN Ambassador.

There are also errors: there are ten days of mourning rather than seven, people are still working in South Africa, there are no strikes in progress, and Mandela will not be buried in Heroes Acre.

Still we watch and wait to see if the more disturbing elements occur before the end of the ten days. Again, most of these events are not supposed to happen in their entirety until the final three days. At this time it is only speculation that the revolution in Ukraine is one of the "three pots boiling rapidly in Europe."

If these things fail to materialize, we must write off this prophecy of Siener van Rensburg as false. And if van Rensburg is wrong, might not others like Alois Irlmaier and the Seer of Waldviertel also be wrong?

In any event, we can be grateful that Comet ISON disintegrated after passing close to the sun: had it remained intact as the brightest comet since 1680 or even the brightest in all history we might well be focusing on Nostradamus' Mabus quatrain with tremendous trepidation.

Syria is more like Bosnia (1992-1995) or Spain (1936-1939)

The Syrian conflict, which has now pulled in every Middle East nation for the exception of Egypt and a few small Gulf states, and is also supported and funded by Russia and the US, is moving much more slowly than I would have believed.

No sooner that it appears it will plunge the ME, Russia, and NATO over the precipice into World War III by Assad using chemical weapons, or lobbing rockets or missiles at Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, or Israel, then things "cool down" with new UN sanctions/UN peace negotiations or another "news-worthy" event occurs that distracts the world's masses from the war, and the civil war threatening to engulf the entire region returns to the status of a lingering civil conflict simmering in the background.

This war has two different base 7 years functioning as its genesis (it became an "official" civil war in 2012): 1998 or 1991, both years being the start of two Balkans civil wars.

I thought it might go like the Kosovo civil war of 1998-99, with NATO beginning to pound Syria and Assad with airstrikes in March 2013, much like it did Serbia in March 1999.

Well, it is now November 2013 and still not a peep from the United States, Turkey, or NATO about taking decisive military action. "All options remain open" - the same spiel we've heard for well over a year now. Meantime, further dragging the heels of the international community is the United Nations trying in vain to find a solution.

This sounds a lot more like the first Balkans civil war that began in Croatia and Serbia in 1991, and became the Bosnian Civil War in April 1992. There was even a "summer of Sarajevo" peace brokered by the UN in 1994 after NATO was allowed to make a few "pin prick" air strikes in the spring that seemed to end the war, until it restarted with a vengeance in the late autumn of 1994. Together, the Croat-Serb conflict and the war in Bosnia lasted for a combined 4 1/2 years ... 3 1/2 of them in Bosnia ... not ending until NATO got tired of being dictated to by the UN and finally began to take matters into its own hands in May 1995. However, the air strikes were not intensive enough and over 300 UN peacekeepers taken hostage by Serbs, some shackled and chained as human shields to areas that were to be targeted by NATO warplanes and missiles. After the hostages were finally freed, the war turned chaotic with entire Serb-held and Croat-held regions emptied out in fierce ethnic fighting, resulting in hundreds of thousands of displaced refugees. For what would be the third and last time, NATO resumed its air war. The war ended after sustained and catastrophic NATO airstrikes in late August, September, and early October 1995.

The longer NATO drags its heels and doesn't get involved, the more likely that the conflict in Syria will fester on like Bosnia did rather than Kosovo ... until late summer/early autumn of 2015. Or, if there is to be a base 7 match with the year Bosnia ended (1995), then late summer/early autumn of 2016.

However, by that time, a decisive move against Syria by Western forces (and likely also by Israel, Turkey, and Jordan) will only succeed in triggering World War III from the ashes of Assad's defeat and the nuclear destruction of Damascus.

Isaiah 17 King James Version (KJV)

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
Picture
Jeremiah 49:23-27 King James Version (KJV)

Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord of hosts. And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
