Al-Baghdadi (al-BigDaddy) Declares Caliphate and Himself as Emir

Al-Baghdadi has declared himself as "Caliph" and as "the emir of the caliphate known as the Islamic State," using his real name Ibrahim Awwad Ibrahim Ali al-Badri al Samarrai, but who is more commonly known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Forget all speculation as to who the Sufyani may be or from what nation, he has now arrived. By declaring himself emir of a nation spanning regions in both Syria and Iraq, "Big Daddy" is also declaring himself "The Sufyani." The question one must next ask is will he also fulfill the Jeremiah prophecy concerning the final "Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon (Iraq)?" Note that the "Baghdad" in "al-Baghdadi" is interchangeable with the name of Iraq's capital.

Undoing the Balkanization (artificial borders) of the Middle East is a good thing, but not under the aegis of Islamic extremists like al-BigDaddy. The militant leader of the former ISIS is calling for Muslims to help build his Islamic State:

If Big Daddy succeeds in taking all of Syria, neighboring Lebanon, and all of Iraq and then threatens the Al Qaeda and Taliban in Afghanistan, as well as the Shi'a nation of Iran and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (especially Medina) with his military, there will be no question as to who he is.

We must also watch his movements regarding Jordan, northern Israel, and Egypt (especially around the Red Sea) to see if he is also the prophesied "King of Babylon."

We must also wait to see if there is a well-coordinated Shiite resistance by Muqtada al-Sadr. If he manages to defeat al-Baghdadi, then al-Sadr may then likely become "Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon" and there will be no Sufyani.

The Arab Antichrist

Stewart Robb was a Nostradamus commentator who wrote a series of books between the 1930s and 1980s. He predicted the coming of an Arab antichrist also known as "The Arab Prince" most memorably in his book magazine What The Future Holds (1942). Erika Cheetham elaborated more fully on this theme in her first book The Prophecies Of Nostradamus (1973) which became the inspiration for the motion picture The Man Who Saw Tomorrow (1981). Pictured at above right is the Arab Prince as visualized by the film's creators, mistakenly giving him a blue turban which Cheetham and others stressed would be associated with a different figure, a future Iranian leader (The Persian). At upper left is the full video purported to be the self-styled super-Arab leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi calling on his followers to "escalate their jihad against the enemies of God", especially Christians, by crucifixions and beheadings. ISIS has made claims that it possesses some nuclear weapons and al-Baghdadi has made a direct threat against New York City, much like the fictive film Arab villain does pictured at above right. It has taken many, many years longer than most of us imagined it would, but the prophecies of Nostradamus are indeed coming into reality as are key Bible prophecies. What was once thought of as science fiction is quickly becoming today's headlines.

Hi Ivan,

It's beginning to look like we are seeing the entity that will overthrow Bashar al-Assad ... which might make this leader of "The Islamic State" the potential beast of Revelation.

I haven't really breached the subject too much about this al-Baghdadi of ISIS, but do you think he could not only be the Islamic Sufyani but the beast of Revelation 13? If he manages to rule all of the Arab Middle East that would be about 10 kingdoms, and 3 would be taken by force (Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq OR Jordan, Syria, and Iraq) as in Daniel 7.

Although the Horns were 10 they actually grew out of 7 different heads?
Babylon,Medo-Persia,Greece.are 3 separate heads.
Rome,Byzantine,Holy Roman Empire are out of one head.
Moslem 1 head,Turks are 1 head.Mameluke is 1 head
So ISIS could well be the little horn of Daniel 7 v20

The Beast of Revelation who received the head wound was Islam.
This happened in 1917 when General Allenby kicked the Turks out of Jerusalem,only for Islam to resurface decades later under the new title of 'Radical Islam'.

I have been getting a sneaky suspicion of late, especially after seeing that Michael Jackson CGI apparition on stage (not a hologram as the reports said), that the beast of Revelation actually does DIE and DOES NOT return to life.

The false prophet, who follows after, gives "life" to the IMAGE of the beast, and forces everyone to worship his IMAGE and take his mark on pain of death. In other words, the mark will not be enforced until after the beast is killed by a sword (a victim of war or assassination). The people will be worshipping a dead man "brought back to life" by CGI technology or actual sorcery. Thus, it is the false prophet who creates the Christian persecution and mass martyrdom by beheading.

I find it interesting that in Islamic prophecy the Sufyani (who may well be al-Baghdadi of ISIS) there is a hadith that says he will reign for 3 1/2 years ... same as the beast. The Sufyani is then killed by The Mahdi (Daniel's final "king of the south"?) Then, after the Sufyani's death, the Dajjal who works false miracles and wonders appears in the Middle East. The Dajjal is perhaps the false prophet?

There is a western European prophecy, quite old, that say the beast appears first, reigns and dies, then the false prophet appears, but I can't seem to find it now. I found it strange since the general consensus has always been that the beast and false prophet reign together, not one first and then the other.

Hi Ivan,

I note that you say you think the group ISIS (now simply IS, for Islamic State) may be the "little horn." Within the little horn we see "the eyes like that of a man." Thus, do you think the current leader of IS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is the "man of sin" or "beast" of Revelation 13?

I note that he cannibalizes all the money, the technology, the business assets, possessions, everything within the cities and towns he conquers, and has amassed a few billion dollars in the process. He even boasts of having nuclear weapons. I think we have to seriously consider him as a contender.

Hi mike, Today on the news it reported that AL-Baghdadi had been wounded or killed only for a video of him to surface very much alive.
He said he is a direct descendant of Mohammad,not even Bin Laden said that !!! in Revelation 6 v2 he rides out to conquer.
In Isaiah he is referred to as the Assyrian and king of Babylon.
And yes mike,i do now think he is the Beast of Revelation 13.

Hi Mike,according to the preacher Wahlid Shoebat the mark of the Beast is a badge worn on the right arm or head band with some form of servitude to Islam on it like Bismillah or the half moon.
Made of paper or cloth.
You see this on some videos of radical Islam.

While I am moving in the direction of declaring Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi the beast of Revelation 13, I have some nagging problems with that idea.

One of the biggest ones is the idea that the beast is supposed to establish a 7-year peace covenant with Israel which he breaks after reigning 42 months (3 1/2 years).

However, "Big Daddy" and ISIS have been reported as having declared the following:

Sounds like quite the opposite of a peace treaty, doesn't it? Or is it just a bunch of ISIS propaganda?

Still, it would be consistent with what the latter days "Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon" will do to Hazor (N. Israel) according to Jeremiah 49.

Thus, perhaps this al-Baghdadi is also the "king of the north" prophesied by Daniel in 11 Chapter who precedes the rise to power of the vile person or beast? In that chapter we are told that before returning "to the fort of his own land" the "king of the north" will turn towards "the pleasant land" (Israel) and many there will be utterly consumed.

I am sure many people consider the idea that any part of Israel (including the northern part where Tel Aviv is) could be destroyed and made utterly uninhabitable as a heretical view of Bible prophecy, but I have to admit there are plenty of clues that seem to indicate just that. And this would NOT be the work of the beast but his predecessor.

Also, who will the "idol shepherd"/false prophet be now? It can't be that Syrian Jewish rabbi anymore can it?

Hi Mike,
Remember that John of Revelation had a vision of the future of around AD96.
The beast of Rev:13v3 was and is Islam.
The false prophet was Mohammad called(The prophet) by Islam)

The Bible still seems to indicate Israel will have a king called "The Idol shepherd: zech:11v15-17.
A wicked prince:Eze:21v25-27.
The first prince of Daniel: 9v26 was Titus son of vespasian who ransacked and destroyed the Temple in AD70
The second prince of Dan:9v27 is the wicked prince of Eze:21v25-27
The covenant is most probably the agreement to build the tribulation Temple of Rev:11v2.by the Idol shepherd of zech:11v15-17.
Only a high priest can cause the sacrifices and the oblations to cease.

I'm not sure if I but into the direct descendant of Mohammad claim. The Mahdi is supposed to be from Mohammad's family lineage, and he is supposed to fight the Dajjal and Sufyani with the help of the Mesiah.

There are several reasons why I think this al-Baghdadi is the Sufyani (whether that makes him the beast too, I don't know, but I suspect he could be):

1) He is trying to take control of Syria (Sufyani eventually does take control of the whole of Syria)

2) He has brought tremendous destruction, death to some of the parts of Iraq the Sufyani is supposed to attack (but not yet Al-Zawara which is Baghdad)

3) He has stated that after Iraq, he will go to war with Iran

4) Al Qaeda in Afghanistan have condemned al-Baghdadi and IS (Sufyani will war with the Afghanis, and there is now animosity between al-Baghdadi and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan)

5) His group has also stated they would eventually move south against Saudi Arabia and take the oil (another Sufyani future action that fails after a three-day campaign and another one later)

6) The barbaric atrocities that have been committed by this group against those they conquer, crucifixions and beheadings, including raping and killing of women and murders of children (all of these acts have not been extensively detailed in Islamic prophecy, but the Sufyani is said to have the bellies of women ripped out and children dashed to pieces, etc.)

7) The Sufyani eventually is killed in his stronghold at Aleppo (al-Baghdadi has bragged that Aleppo is his stronghold and from which his current IS empire stretches)

Every day more and more news (including the unreported atrocities the underground and Christian news services only provide) seems to make al-Baghdadi a perfect match for The Sufyani ... far more perfect a match than Saddam Hussein ever was reputed to be

Considering the events that have happened to Israel when there was a blood moon on days of their holy feast days this must mean something to Israel.
In Dan:11v23 he shall become strong with a small people(IS)
In isa: 10v24-25 'he is called the Assyrian exactly the land that (IS)
is covering now .The (IS) has just started to issue passports for this newly formed state so he means business.He has called for all types of professionals to help form this state and he calls himself ruler of all Islam.I know nothing about islamic prophecies,but cannot see this being anything but Daniels little horn.

Obama isn't hitting the IS very hard ... pinprick strikes with drones. Where's the heavy stuff? Shock n' awe? Cruise missiles to burn the termites off the carpet completely? After all, they're spread out all over the open countryside, not hiding inside major cities like Baghdad or deep in caves like Taliban/Al Qaeda were in 2001. Most of the civilians have fled or are dead. Should be as easy as Libya was in 2011-12. Makes one wonder if the US isn't really backing the bastards in the first place ...

If you recall my prediction for the coming super-Arab, potential Sufyani, on page 2014 (Part One) of my main website, I initially thought this figure might emerge from Egypt, and I compared him to the very late Gamal Abdel Nasser. I predicted he would take over Syria and merge it together with Egypt and other Arab states into a 21st Century UAR (Nasser's UAR failed to attract other Arab states other than Iraq, and Iraq was caught up in internal struggles at the time, thus it never officially joined the UAR). I have posted this idea many times since 2006 in fact on my forum, one failed past prediction, and in posted emails.

At this time, it certainly does look like ISIS and Al-Baghdadi have appropriated the more statesman style super-Arab I envisioned and radicalized the concept to fit their own ideal for super-Arab. They certainly have gone a great distance to demonstrate to the world and to their enemies that they are as ruthless and cruel as the Sufyani of Muslim prophecy. Indeed, they have gone so far as to be as evil as the beast or false prophet of Revelation 13.

However, as you have observed, the Egyptian model still has a chance. I have not entirely ruled it out, which is why whenever I see that el-Sisi does or says anything that puts him in a potentially powerful spotlight, I put a news link on the prediction which, for the time being, is devoted to demonizing the likely Sufyani, Bad Daddy and his IS.

I don't see el-Sisi in a blue turban though. Nor do I see Bad Daddy in a blue turban. This could change of course.

One thing I am watching is Al Qaeda's attempt to unify Central Asia and also India under THEIR black banners. We know the Arab Sufyani goes to war several times with "the black banners of Khurasan."

I am leaning towards a theory that the war between the blue head and white head (also blue turban and white turban in another quatrain) may be a struggle between the Islamic State caliphate vs a new Al Qaeda based empire. We have yet to see the blue turban and white turban placed on any heads, however.

Rule NOTHING out. The situation may still be earlier than we may imagine, but the pace is picking up, nonetheless.

The beast is the name of a super computer that the company I worked for built to monitor and control the subdermal chips they produce. The company is working towards the August 12 2016 deadline to produce 4.6 billion chips. The order was paid in full by whom, is beyond my knowledge, as I was only setting up the production facility. A glorified construction superintendent they called a Engineering Project Manager is what I was. The chips are going to be your ID, drivers license, social security card, property ownership record, passport, etc. so get ready because its not going to be in some distant theoretical future, coming soon, the mark.
