NOTE: Way too many embedded news reports on the 2020 Predictions page, especially under the COVID-19 topic. It has become nearly impossible to delete the embedded material ... taking six minutes or more just to delete ONE news article before page fully loads again. And after three deletions, if I manage to get that many done, the page freezes and the browser crashes. As a viewer the page loads okay, although it takes a while. But as a web author it is nearly impossible for me to do updates anymore on that page. Terribly slow loading and it really needs a lot of embedded articles deleted to speed up page loading ... and that no longer can be done.
So I am doing the page over, with only a small number of embedded news under COVID-19. I wasn't able to predict it in time anyway before it was already being reported on. Technically it is a base 7 alert comparing its timing with Asian Flu in 1957-58 and not a prediction. Not worth putting so much news on it.
When I am finished this will be the 2020 Predictions page and the original will be deleted.
The Next Tunguska Event or Chelyabinsk: As Powerful or Catastrophic in Comparison?
The distance from 1908 to 2013 was considerable: 105 years. Yet it seems doubtful the next similar event will be another century away. It seems that close encounters with PHAs (Potentially Hazardous Asteroids) has increased since the start of the new millennium, and while every seven years seems perhaps too short a distance, it may be one we need to watch. Also, in the late 70's and 80's we saw a strange but different event happen in Russia and the United States seven years apart: a nuclear power plant disaster in each (1979, 1986). Also the US pace station Skylab fell to earth in 1979 and was followed by the Russian Mir 22 years later in 2001 (almost happened in 2000, making it a 21 year event). Thus, it is possible that in 2020 the US will experience its own Chelyabinsk event unless it happens again in Russia or elsewhere.
Most likely this will occur as a shock out of the blue and without any anticipation. Then again, it may be preceded by angst created by news reports indicating a probable impact, instead to manifest itself as an atmospheric explosion similar to Chelyabinsk. The event may also signal the pending death of Pope Francis later in the year if he visits Iraq.
One other worry we can not ever rule out: the next Tunguska or Chelyabinsk could well be the Warning of two stars crashing given at Garabandal in 1963 and also prophesied by Nostradamus in 1555:
After the collision of two great stars which will occur between April and March:
Oh, what a loss, but two great good influences by land and sea will help on all sides.
THE YUSHU METEOR OR QINGHAI EVENT
A suspected low-flying meteor has lit up the sky in northwestern China's Yushu City on December 23. Video from the event in the city in China’s Qinghai Province showed a bright fireball streaking across and lighting the dark sky.
A giant fireball was spotted flashing across the sky and crashing into northwestern China’s Yushu City on Wednesday, leaving residents stunned. Videos of the event which have gone viral showed a bright fireball streaking across and lighting the dark sky.
Have you heard about a giant meteor fireball shooting towards Earth with bright light and glowing brightly in the sky? Believe it or not, this cosmic event occurred in Yushu City, which is situated in the north western region of China. A giant meteor fireball was spotted flashing across the sky and finally crashing on the ground on Wednesday.
Spectacular fireball explodes over China's Yushu City, the largest fireball event since December 2018
A spectacular fireball exploded over northwestern China's Yushu City, Qinghai Province at around 23:23 UTC on December 22, 2020 (07:23 LT, December 23). The event lasted up to 20 seconds. Many locals reported hearing a series of loud bangs.
A giant fireball has been spotted flashing across the sky and crashing into a county in southern China. Footage taken by stunned locals shows an unidentified object exploding into a blazing sphere as it plunges at a fast speed towards the earth. It is not immediately clear what the ball of fire is, but local media are suggesting the possibility of a very bright meteor.
Some said it was the size of a stepladder. Others said it was more like half the size of a giraffe. Either way, on March 11, 2022 at 21:22 TUC a tiny asteroid struck the ocean 300 miles/470 kilometers off Norway’s Jan Mayen Island. Did the 6 1/2 feet/2 meters-wide asteroid—about the size of a grand piano and officially called 2022 EB5—slip through the surveillance net? No, says NASA, who claims its discovery a mere two hours before it struck the Artic Ocean marks the fifth time that any asteroid has been observed before impacting into the atmosphere.
An asteroid hit Earth's atmosphere last Friday. Astronomers were able to precisely determine where it was going to strike. And despite seeing it just two hours before impact, its small size meant it posed little danger to the planet. An observer at the Piszkésteto Observatory in northern Hungary first spotted the 6 1/2-foot wide space rock named 2022 EB5, NASA said Tuesday.
Asteroid half the size of a giraffe strikes Earth off the coast of Iceland – just two HOURS after it was discovered by astronomers
A small asteroid struck the Earth above Iceland last Friday — just two hours after it was spotted by an astronomer. The space rock, named 2022 EB5, is believed to have mostly burnt up in our planet's atmosphere, but even if it had impacted the surface it would have done little to no damage because it was just 10ft (3 metres) wide, about half the size of a giraffe.
At least 8 fireballs were seen over the United States on September 24, 2021, with the largest grouping of eyewitnesses reports -- more than 130 -- associated with an event that occurred at 23:41 UTC (19:40 EDT) over North Carolina. The fireball became visible 77 km (48 miles) above the ocean off Camp Lejeune, moving NE at 51 500 km/h (32 000 mph).
A very bright and sonic fireball streaked through the night sky over the English Channel at 21:48 UTC on September 5, 2021. The event and was captured by numerous dashcams and Fripon video stations. The International Meteor Organization (IMO) received more than 400 witness reports from both sides of the Channel, with many of them reporting related sonic booms and other sounds.
CBS4 Chief Meteorologist Craig Setzer said it looks like it was a very close pass of asteroid 2021 GW4. He said it was likely passing about 9,000 miles above us and briefly struck the atmosphere while moving at 16,000 mph.
There will be no "Armageddon" type of situation on Earth after an asteroid the size of car just missed hitting Earth on Monday. The asteroid, known as 2021 GW4, traveled at 18,700 miles per hour when it passed the planet.
The flash of light seen by many in South Florida Monday night was likely a chunk of an asteroid known as 2021 GW4. According to CBS12 News meteorologist Zach Covey, the asteroid was scheduled to make an "extremely close approach" of just 16,000 miles.
A small space rock about the size of a car or truck made a slightly intrusive but not very intimidating flyby on Monday. Asteroid 2021 GW4 came within 12,324 miles (19,833 kilometers) of the surface of Earth at its closest point of approach Monday morning Pacific time, according to Harvard astronomer Jonathan McDowell.
An asteroid has raced by the Earth at a distance of just 16,700 miles only four days after it was discovered. The asteroid, known as 2021 GW4, was travelling at 18,700 miles per hour when it passed our planet—nine times faster than a rifle bullet. At its closest point, 2021 GW4 passed by us at just 7 percent of the distance between the Earth and the Moon.
A brilliant fireball streaked across Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, leaving witnesses in awe as the meteor turned the night sky into a day. Authorities and experts said they will provide more information after the analysis.
Despite pandemic disruption, astronomers detected thousands of previously unknown near-Earth asteroids last year. A 340-metre-wide space rock named Apophis whizzed safely past Earth on 6 March. The next time it returns, in 2029, won’t be so uneventful.
BASE 7 ALERT: Wuhan Coronavirus Pandemic: The Asian Flu Revisited
New diseases used as weapons will cause 25 million people to die.
Before long all will be set in order, we will expect a very sinister century, the state of the masked
and solitary ones much changed, few will be found who want to be in their place.
The current Coronavirus pandemic that broke out at the start of 2020 may be a more deadly mathematical repeat of the 1957-58 Asian Flu, one of three deadly 20th Century flues which included the 1918 Pandemic that killed millions worldwide. It is important to cover this as a prediction still because what is not yet known is the course it will run.
That is where this alert takes on importance:
This Asian-born pandemic may mutate over the summer and become especially virulent and even more deadly in the autumn and cause the most deaths between December 2020 and March 2021, but only if it follows the same path as The Asian Flu.
It means we may have to contend with this disease for at least another year and that it will get much worse than it is now, if that can be believed.
To healthy people who have been hoarding various goods and seeking a test to confirm a negative result for coronavirus, hoping then to wait it out: WHAT GOOD IS BEING TESTED NEGATIVE NOW THEN RACING BACK TO YOUR WELL-STOCKED HOME GOING TO DO YOU? YOU CAN'T HIDE IN YOUR HOMES FOR A YEAR AND A HALF!! I DON'T BELIEVE THIS VIRUS IS GOING AWAY IN THREE WEEKS!
We also still must contend with what could be a second plague beginning late this year or early in 2021: an Ebola Pandemic.
Prediction: Coronavirus may only be the first of several deadly pandemics to come over the next several years. In 2021 exists the danger of an especially horrific outbreak of EBOLA actually becoming a pandemic, much worse than anything imaginable in 2014. Nostradamus specifically warns us of this "African pestilence" being brought to Europe and other countries in ships. Perhaps cruise ships like the recent Diamond Princess. Perhaps infected refugees seeking asylum by sea. We must evaluate what prophecy says.
Nostradamus, Quatrain 2.65 ~
The park inclined, great calamity,
Throughout America and Italy it will be:
The fire in the ship, pestilence and captivity, Mercury in Sagittarius, Saturn warning.
Could it be that Francis will no longer be pope later this year or early next?
It is indeed possible that these diseases were created in laboratories for biological warfare! It is also possible they can be transmitted from space to our planet via a weapons satellite or a germ warfare space station.
There will be no further news updates ... or any other updates ... concerning the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic should have ended in April 2021 much like the Asian Flu ended in April 1958 ... April should have marked the conclusion.
* If an exceptionally important update does catch my eye, for good or bad, I will post it if I can. (See below).
Vaccines, according to most doctors, will be less effective without booster shots. What the length of their efficacy will be is unknown.
Despite calls to push for 100% vaccination of the American public to stem the pandemic, most major news media continue to report that the overall effectiveness of vaccines has dropped substantially and the need for boosters. News media continue to push two contradictory narratives: get vaccinated as soon as possible on the one hand and the varying degree of dangers from the vaccine, including fatality, on the other. Aside from reputable news services that go out nationally in the US and internationally, there are equally reputable regional and local news services, some which contain reports that warn for and some against being vaccinated. News also comes out of countries such as the UK and Israel, and often contradictions are to be found there.
It is very hard to know what to do, at least it seems so to me. Getting COVID-19 is practically a death sentence for the non-vaccinated, but the vaccine can and does kill or injure some people, and of those it kills they are people of all ages. The numbers of people who have been harmed by vaccines vary from news source to news source: anywhere from a miniscule number to frighteningly large numbers and numbers in between.
The best promise to an end of this madness comes from Israel and other countries working with natural antibodies of those who fought off and survived COVID-19. It is their hope to produce a vaccine using the antibodies of 1) COVID-19 survivors and 2) survivors of the SARS 2002-2003 pandemic.
From a base 7 perspective, COVID-19 should now have been reduced to being like the seasonal flu: an endemic. But it appears there is a desire to continue the pandemic and fear of the pandemic for another 8 to 10 years. Infections will continue for another ten years, but should be at much lower levels, like cold or flu, and treatable by physicians and in hospitals by medications by 2028. However, by 2031 a related virus will likely replace COVID-19 and begin yet another pandemic.
I will continue to answer questions regarding COVID-19 ... what is in my power to do, that is. But following the course of the pandemic must now cease ... as it should have at the end of spring 2021. If an exceptionally important update does catch my eye, for good or bad, I will post it if I can.
TEL AVIV—Israel is upping the vaccine ante, pressing citizens to get Covid-19 booster shots and saying those who don’t will face restrictions on traveling, dining out and other activities. Holders of Israel’s vaccine passports must get a third dose of the Pfizer -BioNTech vaccine within six months of their second dose, or lose the so-called green pass that allows them more freedom.
The COVID-19 vaccines' ability to keep people out of the hospital appears to be dropping slightly, particularly for those 75 and older, although the vaccines still remain highly effective at preventing serious illness, according to an analysis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention presented Monday during an advisory panel.
A major study conducted by Israeli researchers into natural immunity has found that immunity acquired via infection from Covid-19 is superior to immunity from the Pfizer vaccine. Researchers at Maccabi Healthcare and Tel Aviv University compared the outcomes of over 76,000 Israelis in three groups: the doubly vaccinated (with the Pfizer vaccine), the previously infected but unvaccinated, and the previously infected with only a single vaccine dose.
It’s not over just yet. Dr. Anthony Fauci says the U.S. won’t emerge from the COVID pandemic until next spring at the earliest. The world-renowned infectious disease expert predicted the coming months will remain very difficult, with high caseloads and deaths especially in places with low vaccination rates.
JERUSALEM—The massive surge of COVID-19 infections in Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries on earth, is pointing to a complicated path ahead for America. In June, there were several days with zero new COVID infections in Israel. Fast forward two months later: Israel reported 9,831 new diagnosed cases on Tuesday, a hairbreadth away from the worst daily figure ever recorded in the country—10,000—at the peak of the third wave. More than 350 people have died of the disease in the first three weeks of August.
The rise of the Delta variant has upended previous optimistic projections of herd immunity and a return to normal life, with many health experts believing mask mandates and tougher vaccine requirements will be needed in the coming months to avoid more serious coronavirus surges.
Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned that allowing the coronavirus delta variant to circulate freely among unvaccinated individuals could lead to a more potent variant that could harm even vaccinated individuals. The delta variant has already given rise to a small variant known as "delta plus" variant that has a spike protein mutation that may cause it to spread faster.
PARIS (AFP) — Almost a quarter of a million people took to the streets across France on Saturday for the biggest protests yet against a coronavirus health pass needed to enter a cafe or travel on an inter-city train, two days before the new rules come into force. Similar but smaller protests were held in Italy.
Fully vaccinated people who get a Covid-19 breakthrough infection can transmit the virus, CDC chief says
(CNN) Fully vaccinated people who get a Covid-19 breakthrough infection can transmit the virus, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Thursday. "Our vaccines are working exceptionally well," Walensky told CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "They continue to work well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death -- they prevent it. But what they can't do anymore is prevent transmission." That's why the CDC changed its guidance last week and is now recommending even vaccinated people wear masks indoors again, Walensky said.
Two bombshell interviews: John Moore reveals military knowledge of civilization-ending global event, while attorney Thomas Renz warns of coming tidal wave of vaccine mandate lawsuits
If you’re wondering why corrupt, criminal governments of the world seem to be in such a hurry to mass “vaccinate” everybody with a deadly, experimental, non-approved gene therapy injection, one of the most shocking answers may be simpler than you think. According to analyst and radio hose John Moore (The Liberty Man), who has many contacts with high level U.S. Navy officers and scientists, a global extinction level event is approaching and the globalists are desperately trying to cull the human population before people figure out what’s about to happen.
The vast majority of new serious cases of Covid in Israel are vaccinated individuals, author and independent journalist Alex Berenson noted. Serious cases of the virus “have risen 10-fold since the beginning of July — from roughly five a day to about 40 over the last week,” Berenson said in an Aug. 3 report. “The overall number of patients has soared too — from 30 to more than 200.”
If America's current COVID-19 surge continues unabated into the fall and winter, the country will likely face an even more deadly strain of the virus that could evade the current coronavirus vaccines, NIAID director Anthony Fauci told McClatchy Wednesday. Fauci's comments underscore the importance of acting quickly to vaccinate the tens of millions of Americans who have not been inoculated against the virus.
WHO officials say the science is unproven about whether a third booster shot is effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The head of the World Health Organization called Wednesday for a moratorium on administering booster shots of COVID-19 vaccines as a way to help ensure that doses are available in countries where few people have received their first shots.
Among people infected by the Delta variant of the coronavirus, fully vaccinated people with "breakthrough" infections may be just as likely as unvaccinated people to spread the virus to others, new research suggests. The Lambda variant of the coronavirus is highly infectious and more resistant to vaccines than the original version of the virus that emerged from Wuhan, China, Japanese researchers have found.
The Delta variant is much more contagious, more likely to break through protections afforded by the vaccines and may cause more severe disease than all other known versions of the virus, according to an internal presentation circulated within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Vaccinated people with so-called breakthrough infections of the Delta variant carry just as much virus in the nose and throat as unvaccinated people, and may spread it just as readily.
WASHINGTON — At least 125,000 fully vaccinated Americans have tested positive for Covid and 1,400 of those have died, according to data collected by NBC News. The 125,682 "breakthrough" cases in 38 states found by NBC News represent less than .08 percent of the 164.2 million-plus people who have been fully vaccinated since January, or about one in every 1,300. But the total number of breakthrough cases is likely higher than 125,683, since nine states, including Pennsylvania and Missouri, did not provide any information, while 11, like Covid hotspot Florida, did not provide death and hospitalization totals.
In another dispiriting setback for the nation’s efforts to stamp out the coronavirus, scientists who studied a big COVID-19 outbreak in Massachusetts concluded that vaccinated people who got so-called breakthrough infections carried about the same amount of the coronavirus as those who did not get the shots.
The United States is facing a COVID-19 summer surge as the delta variant spreads. More than 611,000 Americans have died from COVID-19, according to real-time data compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Just 57.6% of Americans ages 12 and up are fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
A little more than two months ago, a beaming President Biden stepped into the Rose Garden to announce that vaccinated Americans no longer needed to wear masks indoors. So much progress had been made against the coronavirus, now they could go back to "greeting others with a smile." But anyone smiling inside the White House on Wednesday was supposed to do it once again from behind a mask.
With the highly contagious delta variant fueling a rise in COVID-19 cases, Dr. Jerome Adams — the surgeon general under former President Donald Trump who once advised against mask-wearing — now says even the vaccinated may need to mask up. Adams is part of a growing chorus of criticism of the CDC guidance, issued in May, that people who are fully vaccinated can resume activities indoors and outdoors without masks. The messaging, Adams told NPR's Morning Edition, "has just absolutely, unequivocally failed."
A study from a team of New York University researchers found the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine is far less effective at preventing coronavirus infections from the Delta variant and other mutated forms of the virus than from earlier strains, a concerning find since the Delta variant now accounts for almost all U.S. Covid-19 cases.
Well, this is what happens when the genie has left the bottle, and it’s not wearing a face mask. In the words of Christina Aguilera, oh, woah, woah. Covid-19 cases have been on the rise throughout the U.S. This is just two months after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) changed their face mask guidelines in May. Since it’s difficult to tell whether people are fully vaccinated because they may do a thing called lying, many state and local authorities soon abandoned face mask requirements all together.
Two months after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said vaccinated individuals didn’t need to wear masks in most settings, a growing number of experts are warning it’s time to put them back on. First, there was Los Angeles County, where the rising menace posed by the delta variant of the coronavirus prompted health officials to reimpose a mask mandate. Then, Bay Area health officers on Friday recommended that residents of seven counties and the city of Berkeley, Calif., resume wearing masks indoors ...
A growing number of countries are considering third vaccine shots, but it is still not clear that this is the most effective way to tackle Covid-19 as new variants spread and it remains unknown how long their protection lasts. Scientists say this is a complicated question and the answers could vary according to individual or national circumstances – or the vaccines involved.
The COVID-19 curve in the U.S. is rising again after months of decline, with the number of new cases per day doubling over the past three weeks, driven by the fast-spreading delta variant, lagging vaccination rates and Fourth of July gatherings. Confirmed infections climbed to an average of about 23,600 a day on Monday, up from 11,300 on June 23, according to Johns Hopkins University data. And all but two states — Maine and South Dakota — reported that case numbers have gone up over the past two weeks.
Covid-19 cases are surging in 46 states. In one hot spot, hospitalized patients are younger than ever, doctor says
(CNN) Just as health experts predicted, the combination of unvaccinated people and the more contagious Delta strain of coronavirus has led to new Covid-19 surges. In 46 states, the rates of new cases this past week are at least 10% higher than the rates of new cases the previous week, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
New infections rising almost 50% across US; FDA may issue warning on J&J vaccine, report says: Live COVID-19 updates
The U.S. averaged 19,455 new COVID-19 cases per day over the last seven days, a 47.5% increase from the previous week, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. And 43 states saw an increase in cases last week from the week before, a sign that the pandemic endures in the United States. Hospitalizations are rising again. Deaths, a lagging indicator, also appear ready to start climbing. More than 99% of deaths are now among people who have not been vaccinated, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports.
Israeli data seems to show COVID vaccine protection starts fading after 6 months -- Most of the vaccinated people who have been recently infected got the shot around January, figures given to Health Ministry show; some caution it’s too early to draw conclusions
There is a growing correlation between vaccinated Israelis who have been infected with the Delta variant of the coronavirus and those who were among the first to get the vaccine, possibly indicating that the vaccine’s protection fades over time, a report said Sunday.
Americans will need masks indoors as U.S. heads for ‘dangerous fall’ with surge in delta Covid cases
As the highly transmissible delta Covid variant continues to spread rapidly across the United States and elsewhere around the world, scientists and other health experts are warning that indoor mask mandates and other public health measures will likely make a return in the U.S. this fall.
More than 125 campers and adults who attended a church camp in Texas have tested positive for COVID-19, Texas officials say. The pastor at Clear Creek Community Church in League City said hundreds more people were likely exposed to the virus at the camp or when the campers returned home.
Israel data 'preliminary signal' Delta variant can bypass vaccine: expert -- Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine may be useless
Rising coronavirus cases in Israel, where most residents are inoculated with the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, offer "a preliminary signal" the vaccine may be less effective in preventing mild illness from the Delta variant, a top expert said Monday. "Delta variant's emergence as the "dominant strain" in the country has led to a "massive shift in the transmission dynamic".
(CNN) Local officials are sounding the alarm over an increase in Covid-19 infections just as the nation prepares to celebrate a Fourth of July holiday that many hoped would mark the start of the resumption of normal life.
LONDON—As the Delta variant of the coronavirus surges through the U.K., almost half of the country’s recent Covid-19 deaths are of people who have been vaccinated. But doctors and scientists aren’t sounding the alarm about the apparently high proportion of deaths among the vaccinated population.
For months, the Biden administration, the media and major US corporations have promoted the fiction that the COVID-19 pandemic is all but over. Last month, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reversed its guidance on mask-wearing, urging vaccinated people to stop wearing masks and socially distancing in crowded areas. But the absurd pretext that the pandemic is over was exploded Monday when Los Angeles County—the most populous county in the US—issued a recommendation that residents disregard the CDC order on mask-wearing and social distancing and take health measures recommended by scientists.
Health officials in Los Angeles County now strongly recommend that people wear masks indoors in public places — regardless of their vaccination status — to prevent the spread of the highly transmissible delta variant of the coronavirus. The move comes two weeks after Gov. Gavin Newsom reopened California and lifted the statewide mask mandate.
The Delta coronavirus variant is now the third-most common in California, new data show, underscoring the danger of the highly contagious strain to people who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. The variant makes up 14.5% of California coronavirus cases analyzed so far in June, up from 4.7% in May, when it was the fourth-most identified variant in California, according to data released by the California Department of Public Health.
The UK recorded the most coronavirus cases in a day since mid-February, amid warnings the current wave of infections driven by the highly transmissible delta variant may still be weeks from peaking. More than 11,000 new cases of the disease were reported on Thursday, along with 19 deaths, according to the Department Health. A study by Public Health England showed infection rates increasing across all age groups, but are highest among people aged 20 to 29.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Many Americans are relaxing precautions taken during the COVID-19 pandemic and resuming everyday activities, even as some worry that coronavirus-related restrictions were hastily lifted, a new poll shows.
The World Health Organization (WHO) on Thursday warned of a continentwide third wave of coronavirus cases in Africa as the continent's countries see major spikes in COVID-19 infections. “In the last two weeks, Africa recorded a 20% increase in cases compared with the previous fortnight. The pandemic is trending upwards in 14 countries and in the past week alone, eight countries witnessed an abrupt rise of over 30% in cases,” the world health body said in a statement.
The country's declining covid-19 case rates present an unrealistically optimistic perspective for half of the nation - the half that is still not vaccinated. As more people receive vaccines, covid-19 cases are occurring mostly in the increasingly narrow slice of the unprotected population. So The Washington Post adjusted its case, death and hospitalization rates to account for that - and found that in some places, the virus continues to rage among those who haven't received a shot.
LONDON—The U.K. government is accelerating its vaccination drive as officials estimate that as many as three quarters of new Covid-19 cases in the country could be the result of a coronavirus variant first identified in India. U.K. hospitalization numbers have ticked up and case numbers have risen 20% in the past week.
Dr. Anthony Fauci is facing increasing calls from Republican lawmakers for his termination over what they say is a shift in his position on whether the U.S. government funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
COVID CRISIS Japanese hospitals on brink of ‘collapse’ with beds & ventilators running out just eight weeks before Olympics
HOSPITALS in Japan are on the brink of collapse amid a huge influx of Covid cases - just eight weeks before the country is due to host the Olympics. Hospitals in Osaka, Japan's second-largest city, are at breaking point as the fourth wave of the pandemic sweeps the nation, sparking calls for the international sporting event to be scrapped.
New coronavirus cases across the United States have tumbled to rates not seen in more than 11 months, sparking optimism that vaccination campaigns are stemming both severe COVID-19 cases and the spread of the virus. As cases, hospitalizations and deaths steadily dropped this week, pre-pandemic life in America has largely resumed.
(CNN) The news flashed across the country -- mask-free at last! People who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no longer have to wear masks inside or outside, nor do they have to stay 6 feet away from others, according to new guidance released Thursday by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Does that mean those Americans vaccinated at least two weeks ago -- meaning full immunity has kicked in -- can throw their masks in the air and hug all in celebration? Not quite. There are many cases where you will need to continue wearing a mask.
COVID-19: Local lockdowns can't be ruled out to curb spread of Indian variant in places like Bolton and Blackburn - Hancock
Health Secretary Matt Hancock has not ruled out imposing local lockdown restrictions in places worst affected by the Indian variant of coronavirus. In Bolton, where a number of people have ended up in hospitals with the Indian variant, the "vast majority" of those patients had been eligible for a COVID jab but not yet had one, Mr Hancock said.
Lockdown-sceptic rock star Eric Clapton blasts vaccine safety 'propaganda' and claims he had a 'disastrous reaction' to AstraZeneca Covid jab which made him fear he'd never play again
Eric Clapton has hit out at 'propaganda' over vaccine safety, claiming he suffered alarming side effects after his Covid jabs. The legendary guitarist, a lockdown sceptic, said his hands and feet became 'useless' – prompting fears he would never play again. In a message to his music producer, he said: 'I took the first jab of AZ [AstraZeneca] and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days.'
Pandemic-weary New Yorkers had their hopes deflated Thursday when Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he wasn’t ready to ease the state’s mask mandate — even though the feds gave the green light for vaccinated Americans to finally show their faces and gather indoors again.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Thursday that people who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no longer need to wear masks or physically distance — whether indoors or outdoors in most circumstances.
LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson voiced anxiety Thursday about a rise in the U.K. of the coronavirus variant first identified in India, after a closely-monitored study of infections in England found it becoming more prevalent — just ahead of the next big easing of lockdown restrictions.
ENDLESS RISE Covid mutant variants in rampant outbreaks like India & Brazil mean ‘no one is safe’ as pandemic could last until 2024
COVID mutant variants spawning from out of control outbreaks like in India and Brazil mean "no one is safe" unless vaccine rollouts are widened, it has been warned. The People's Vaccine Alliance (PVA) - a global coalition of 50 organizations - told The Sun Online about the critical danger the new strains pose if more support isn't given to help vaccinate people worldwide.
Carey Alexander Washington, 80, a practicing clinical psychologist, called his daughter in January as soon as he received his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. "He was just so excited that he had gotten it," said Tanya Washington, 49, a resident of Atlanta who works at an investment firm. Carey received his second shot Feb. 4. A little more than a month later, the South Carolina resident experienced shortness of breath. On March 25, Carey died after nearly two weeks in the hospital, his final days in intensive care. COVID-19 had destroyed his lungs.
As Americans continue to take steps toward normal life, India and several other countries are dealing with an explosion of new coronavirus infections likely to delay the world’s recovery from the deadly crisis, health authorities warned Monday. The number of COVID-19 cases reported around the world in the last two weeks was higher than the total of confirmed infections in the first six months of the pandemic, according to the World Health Organization.
Washington (CNN) New mask guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week has divided experts and fueled a new debate about the best way to steer Americans out of the pandemic. The guidance boils down to this: Fully vaccinated people can now unmask at small outdoor gatherings, or when dining outside with friends from multiple households. The CDC is telling unvaccinated people that they still need to wear a mask at such gatherings. Some public health experts have cast the new guidelines as too cautious as health officials pivot to reaching vaccine-hesitant Americans, while others point to concerning variants and the possibility of a winter surge as reason to keep encouraging widespread mask use.

The number of patients hospitalized with the disease has been heading upward all month, even with a fourth of Floridians fully vaccinated and 2 million who already had COVID.
For almost a year, Americans have been looking forward to herd immunity, when enough people are protected through vaccination or past infection to stop the spread of COVID-19. Once there, public officials have said, masks won't be necessary and hugging and handshakes – not to mention gyms, bars and indoor dining – can return. But even as more than half of Americans have received at least one dose of vaccine and many others are protected by recent infections, health experts are moving away from the idea of reaching some magic number.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- At the same time Americans' satisfaction with the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine has surged, their concerns about getting the virus and about the availability of coronavirus tests and hospital services/treatment have fallen to record lows.
Dr. Fauci, Tear Off These Masks: If the epidemic continues on its current course, it will be safe to uncover your face by Memorial Day
When will it be safe to shop at a grocery store or show up at the office without wearing a mask? Sooner than most experts are willing to admit. If the coronavirus epidemic in the U.S. continues on its current trajectory, the need for masks outside particular local outbreak areas will pass in a matter of weeks.

NATO Forces Move Into Central and Eastern Europe AND the Middle East
It was my opinion on January 11, 2013, that NATO would enter the Syrian Civil War in March 2013 if chemical weapons were used by Assad. I projected the first use would occur in March 2013. First reports that chemicals were used came as predicted on March 19 after 25 people died and more than 110 others were injured in the town of Khan al-Asal in Aleppo. Sarin was the suspected agent. Assad blamed rebels for the chemical rocket attacks. The claim of chemical weapons being used could not be confirmed. Five months later, on August 21, 2013, 1,300 Syrian civilians died from sarin nerve gas outside of Damascus; another 3,600 fell seriously ill. NATO debated. The United Nations debated. The US debated. However, a NATO or even a US retaliation or air war failed to materialize. One of the greatest blunders of the Obama presidency was his unwillingness to act or rally support from NATO allies to end the conflict in the same manner as Bill Clinton mobilized NATO to end the war in Kosovo in 1999. US retaliation against Syria came late, not until the US missile strike on Shayrat Airbase on April 7, 2017. At that time, under President Donald Trump, the US officially entered the war in Syria.
So we once again find ourselves wondering if NATO will be rallied to enter the escalating hostilities in the Middle East being fueled by Iran on two fronts: one against Saudi Arabia and the United States in the Persian Gulf and Iraq and the other against Israel, with air attacks against the Jewish state being conducted by Iranian troops and proxies in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. It would require a dangerous escalation of conflicts with Iran in the region to bring about a NATO intervention. This almost occurred in early January when Trump ordered a missile strike against Iranian positions in Iraq, killing Qassem Soleimani the Head of Iran’s Elite Military Force. Iran retaliated five days later with missile attacks at US bases in Iraq. The crisis appeared that it would escalate into full-scale war, but Iran and the US both stepped down from further actions.
Almost anything could renew such tensions once again as air attacks happen on a fairly regular basis with Israel and in Iran's proxy war with Saudi Arabia in Yemen. Greece is already involved as it is arming Saudi Arabia with US Patriot missiles to be used against Iran. Iran has threatened Athens over this deployment. An unexpected development could occur as well: a few weeks ago Russian and US forces faced off when Russia attempted to capture a key Syrian oil field. Thus, we could see a US-Russian war suddenly materialize in the Middle East, pulling various countries in as allies on either side. That would almost assuredly pull in the NATO alliance. So might an all-out Arab-Israeli war the likes not seen since October 1973.
Why would NATO go to war in Eastern Europe this year? It is possible that Russia will invade another Eastern European country like it did Ukraine in 2014. Any nation that is restive with mass protests or revolution are possible targets. Currently, Serbia is one of these as protests in that country have been ongoing almost perpetually since 2017.
But if base 7 trends regarding the second war in Chechnya (1999-2000) hold true, Russia will wage a larger war with a country it has already invaded and waged war in in recent years. That could either be Georgia or Ukraine. Georgia is not on the current timeline, but will be in 2022. Ukraine, however, is, although 2021 would appear to be the actual year. But a repeat of the February 2014 invasion could certainly happen six to eight months early in 2020.
The overall target dating for NATO war in Europe is very soon: March 2020. But for the Middle East it is only a month later: April 2020.
If the current period of historical correction continues, these events may be stalled until May/June 2022.
NATO takes command of US carrier strike group as allies send more jets and warships to deter Russia's threat against Ukraine
As tensions with Russia threaten to boil over, the USS Harry S. Truman carrier strike group was sent to the Mediterranean as part of a NATO exercise, the Pentagon announced last week. Department of Defense Press Secretary John Kirby told reporters the carrier group will "demonstrate NATO's ability to integrate the high-end maritime strike capabilities of an aircraft carrier strike group to support the deterrence and defense of the alliance."
Sinéad O'Connor: Unspecified Danger
Flood everything, to the Razée (Shaven Female) loss, theft of the wall, death, of all goods abundance:
Escape by mantle uncovered, new & old will be turned luck.
Base 7 dating: March 2020. This is NOW!
I can't specify what the danger is, but this is the base 7 anniversary of the attempted suicide of Sinéad O'Connor ... the most famous shaven-headed pop singer of all time. It was March 1999, a drug overdose. 21 years later and she has not only made great strides resurrecting her career, but is on TIME Magazine's cover for the 100 most influential women of the last century ... a major honor. I have always felt Nostradamus was writing about her, as Razée is spelled with a capital "R" (rendering "Shaven Female" or "Shaven Lady").
What is more he says she is wearing a "mantle" ... that is pretty close from his 16th Century perspective for the hijab which Sinéad has worn since converting to Islam. Who escapes is unclear, but if it is Sinéad she does so by removing the hijab to escape detection.
The danger appears to be linked to some natural disaster, a flood, which seems unlikely right now, but not later this spring. However there are ominous words included: "theft" (indicating another person is involved in whatever it is) and "death." Furthermore, who escapes and who dies is unclear. Thus, it does not appear to be suicide that threatens Sinéad, but murder ... and the murderer a thief.
It is not the first time a female star has been threatened or murdered by a thief: it happened 14 years ago when a thief named Diego Pillco murdered Indie film actress and director Adrienne Shelly. During a bungled burglary in her working studio apartment at Greenwich Village he was caught and confronted by the actress. During the ensuing argument, Pillco knocked her out, dragged her unconscious into the bathroom, and hanged her from a shower rod, making it appear to be a suicide. For a week that is what the media reported her death as being until police discovered sneaker prints in the bathtub.
Perhaps though this time around it is the bungling thief who is killed ... it is hard to say as the wording is, as often, cryptic.
There are two other base 7 anniversaries to beware: November 2036 and August 2038.
Sinéad O'Connor has been hospitalized following the disappearance and death by suicide of her teenage son last week. The singer, 55, said she was going to the hospital Thursday after posting a lengthy message on Twitter earlier that day saying she had "decided to follow [her] son."
Sinéad O’Connor, whose teenage son Shane O’Connor died from suicide last week, turned to Twitter on Thursday, the day of her son’s funeral, to issue what can only be described as a heartbreaking call for help. “I’ve decided to follow my son,” O’Connor wrote on Thursday. “There is no point living without him. Everything I touch, I ruin. I only stayed for him. And now he’s gone. I’ve destroyed my family. My kids don’t want to know me. I am a shit person. And you all only think I’m nice because I can sing. I’m not."
Sinead O'Connor's 17-year-old son, Shane O'Connor, died after he disappeared last week, O'Connor announced Friday on Twitter. "My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the very light of my life, decided to end his earthly struggle today and is now with God," tweeted O’Connor, the controversial Irish singer and songwriter. "May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My baby. I love you so much. Please be at peace."
(CNN) Sinéad O'Connor's 17-year-old son has died, the singer's management company confirmed to CNN on Saturday. On Friday, a Garda spokesman told the Irish Mirror that a body had been recovered and that police were standing down on a missing-person report for Shane O'Connor. The "Nothing compares 2U" musician shared a sequence of brief statements on her unverified Twitter account saying her son "decided to end his earthly struggle" and urged others not to do the same.
The Nothing Compares 2U singer sparked worries over her mental health and safety, after she expressed suicidal thoughts in a tweet shared on Sunday. The 53-year-old has since returned to Twitter, saying that she ‘lost the plot’.
Sinéad O'Connor will enter a year-long treatment program for trauma and addiction and has postponed her 2021 shows in order to do so, O'Connor announced.
Sinéad O'Connor has postponed her 2021 tour in order to enter a year-long treatment programme for trauma and addiction. Writing on Twitter, O'Connor said that 2020 had been the culmination of six years of suffering. She had this year become addicted to "a drug other than weed", which she has used for 34 years, after being profoundly affected by the death of "someone beloved".

Thousands Die When Massive Earthquake Devastates Sicily; Many More Missing, Injured, Dead from Tsunami
This will be a total seismic event. Not only will there be a powerful earthquake in April 2020, more powerful than the 7.1 that devastated the island in 1908, but the quake may also trigger a killer tsunami. The death toll could reach well into the thousands, with up to hal a million injured, missing, and homeless.
Role of Mt. Etna
Two moderate earthquakes (the largest magnitude 4.8) occurred in Sicily in December 2018, set off by the rumbling eruption of Mt. Etna. Etna is one of the world's most active volcanoes and erupts a few times a year annually. A major earthquake nearby need not be linked to Etna, however. Mount Etna is one of the volcanoes Edgar Cayce warned would erupt massively prior to a future mega-earthquake in California.
1908 Messina earthquake
The base 7 precedent for this event is the 1908 Messina earthquake (also known as the 1908 Messina and Reggio earthquake) which occurred on December 28 in Sicily and Calabria, southern Italy with a magnitude of 7.1. The cities of Messina and Reggio were almost completely destroyed and between 75,000 and 82,000 lives were lost.
Two Spectacular Comets For 2020
There is only one precedent for this double event: the spectacular appearance of Comet Arend-Roland in April and May of 1957 and the unexpected arrival of Comet Mrkos in August 1957. There have been no repeats of this phenomenon, not in 1964, 1971, 1978, 1985, 1992, 1999, or 2006. However, in 2013, there was a possibility of two bright comets during the same year: Comet PanSTARRS and Comet ISON, the latter being promoted as a possible "great comet."
PanSTARRS performed very well for southern hemisphere viewers, an extremely bright and dazzling comet if you lived in New Zealand or Australia. However, it did not perform as well as it was expected to in northern skies. Being a wintry March that year in many US states, the skies were often overcast and impossible to view anything. Besides it was only at magnitude +3.5 for those who could see. And when it was supposedly "visible" at +3.5, many would-be comet watchers reportedly just couldn't see it even when they were looking in the right part of the sky. When the comet reached its brightest, +1.0 magnitude rather than the much brighter anticipated -4.0, it was on the horizon and too close to sunset to really make out for most people. So it was something of a fizzle for northern viewers.
So here we are in 2020, seven years later, nothing in the news indicating any surprise comets coming our way, nothing by astronomers expected for the entire year. Still, the event of 1957 is likely to repeat again some day as 2013 almost demonstrated.
So we wait for the unlikely but not impossible this coming year: April 2020 and August 2020, with a conditional vector due to the influence of Comet ISON for the second surprise comet to arrive instead in November or December 2020, remaining visible into January or February 2021.
COMET F3 NEOWISE
May 16, 2020: It will approach to Sun down to 0.3 a.u. on July 3, and it is expected to brighten up to 2.5 mag ... In the Northern Hemisphere, it is not observable now. It will appear in the evening sky at 3-4 mag in mid July (Northern Hemisphere), then it stays observable while getting fainter.
June 11, 2020: Yet another fizzle. Peak magnitude, despite optimistic projects, was never better than 5.2 ... very faint, and that was in the southern hemisphere. Frankly, I'm perplexed. There is a pandemic reminiscent of the 1957-58 Asian Flu raging this year. COVID-19 began being reported before I had a chance to warn we would be repeating the 1957 killer virus. Still, it is a repeat. And one of the other major events of that year was the double, cosmic spectacular of Comet Arend-Roland in April and May of 1957 and the unexpected arrival of Comet Mrkos in August 1957. They didn't fizzle, why did Atlas and Swan? Of course, there is still NEOWISE F3, but trying to get information or reports on it is like yanking teeth ... it's as if the search engines are conspiring to hide it. Or maybe astronomers are afraid it will fizzle too, so they are keeping it under wraps until late June (as it is supposed to blaze in at magnitude 2.5 in early July).
NEOWISE is still in the southern hemisphere, but not for long. Beginning on July 6 and it should enter the northern hemisphere and be seen above the northeastern horizon before dawn. Depending on which source you believe, it should either be holding at magnitude 2 or 3 OR may be as bright as magnitude 0.8. 0.8 is VERY BRIGHT. We will see.
There are also reports that NEOWISE has developed a second tail (like Hale-Bopp did in 1997).
I have not seen it. The weather has been intolerable here with index temp values of 100 F. due to the heat wave. I have no air conditioning and live in an upstairs apartment. Comets have not been a major priority. Besides even on clear days, there's been a lot of cloud activity around dusk and dawn and now the thunderstorms and rains will move in to cool things down. Not good comet-viewing weather. Hopefully in a few days the skies will be clear and I can try to find it at last light. But the media and amateur astronomers, and the public, say it all whether I actually see it or not. One comet down and one to go!
It's actually the brightest comet in 23 years, since Comet Hale-Bopp in 1997, according to NASA. Soon it will be seen in the northwestern sky after sunset, and it will appear to zoom just below the Big Dipper.
To see the comet, start looking about one hour after sunset, when you’ll find it just over the northwest horizon as the last of twilight fades into darkness, according to Sky & Telescope. Look about three fists below the “bowl” of the Big Dipper, which is hanging by its handle high above, and perhaps a little to the right, the website said.
July 24, 2020: Comet NEOWISE is now being classified as a "typical naked-eye comet," but not a "great comet." Its magnitude is between 1 and 2 (but already beginning to fade). Compare that to Hale-Bopp in 1997, which reached magnitude -1. That's nearly THREE magnitudes BRIGHTER, which made it an EASY naked-eye object. You didn't have to search for it, in other words, even in a partially cloudy sky ... IT FOUND YOU. No visible Northern Hemisphere comet has performed like that ever since, including NEOWISE. And some astronomers argue that even Hale-Bopp was not a "great comet" but that the last one was Comet West in 1976 (44 years ago) ... a comet few saw because it got next to no reporting by the news media: a result of the great disappointment a few years earlier when Comet Kohoutek, which had the makings of a "great comet", fizzled.
Comet McNaught of 2007 and Comet Lovejoy of 2011 were both great comets. Unfortunately, they were seen mainly from Earth’s Southern Hemisphere.
When I post predictions for major naked-eye comets, I am writing to the Northern Hemisphere audience, because it is our part of the world that has been getting passed over time and again from seeing naked-eye comets during this century, whether "typical comets" or "great comets." The last "typical comet" I saw in the northern hemisphere with my own eyes, without binoculars, was Comet Holmes in autumn 2007. But I still had to use binoculars to make sure that the faint, fuzzy ball I saw was indeed a comet. The skies were clear, which helped a lot, I was in the outskirts, and light pollution wasn't nearly as bad as it is today. Even though it was only magnitude 3, it was high in the sky near the constellation Perseus. Comets that well-placed are easier to see even if they are faint.
Where I live it has been a largely muggy, rainy mess weather-wise day after day, night after night, with lots of clouds, and on the few clearer, drier days, cloud formations hugging the northwest sky at sunset. I give up ... I'll never see this comet however many millions saw it in other parts of the United States. The only way I'll see one around here is if it is AT LEAST as bright as Hale-Bopp was.
A typical comet!
How bright is Comet NEOWISE? In early July, reports began indicating that Comet NEOWISE has a visual magnitude between 1 and 2. If you know the magnitude scale, where smaller numbers indicate brighter objects, that may sound very bright! However, stars are pinpoints of light, whereas the light of comets is diffuse (spread out). So, for comets, a magnitude of 1 or 2 is fainter than it would be for a star of equal magnitude. The reason is, the comet’s light is distributed over a relatively wide area, instead being concentrated in a single point.
Is Comet NEOWISE a great comet? There’s no strict definition for great comet, but most agree that Hale-Bopp – widely seen by people in 1997 – was one. NEOWISE is nowhere near as bright as Hale-Bopp was. Unlike Hale-Bopp, NEOWISE will never be easily visible to the eye. So it’s not a great comet.
Bright generally means as bright as Venus or brighter. Hale-Bopp was not quite that bright. Some great comets are visible in daylight, but Hale-Bopp was not.
Finally, probably, we have to concede that Hale-Bopp straddles the edge of greatness.
There is certainly a recent trend towards the Southern Hemisphere for great comets. The data reveal that the long-term trend for both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres is a great comet every 25 to 40 years.
But, if you discount Hale-Bopp, then the last great comet for the Northern Hemisphere was Comet West, 44 years ago. Even if you consider Hale-Bopp as great, 23 years have passed.
Comet Swan peaked at magnitude 5.0 in early May 2020 before disintegrating at perihelion in late May. Not sensational, but still visible to the unaided eye for several weeks.
Photo below was taken in Alabama just before sunrise, mid-May.
Every several weeks we have been reading about another comet on the way, Comet Leonard (aka Comet Leonardo), which could fulfill the two major comets prediction, although the better part of a year late (should have appeared in 2020 not 2021). Not much info on it yet, but expectations are it could be bright, although not as bright as NEOWISE.
December 30, 2021: This pretty much sizes it up:
"From the southern U.S. the comet perches a reasonable 10° to 12° high at mid-twilight and may be faintly visible with the naked eye. But if you live in the northern half of the country, it practically scrapes the horizon with an altitude of just 3° to 5°. You’ll need transparent skies, an unobstructed horizon, and binoculars or a small telescope to see it."
To make matters worse, skies are generally overcast here in the northeast almost every day and night this time of the year. Some lucky people, somewhere, reportedly got to see it flare to magnitude +2, but for the most part it has been at +4 or +5 with several flares that briefly pushed it up to +3 (only to slink back to +4 or +5). Best viewing in the north was in the morning, since it became an evening object it has hugged the horizon and hard to see. Again, if conditions are perpetually overcast skies, better off reading about it and looking at the pretty pictures online.
I followed the news for this comet because it was touted on discovery as potentially being another NEOWISE and thus would have been the second major comet that should have followed NEOWISE in 2020, only a year late. Because of timing and positioning, it has failed to be that unless it holds some surprises between now January 3.
For most northern hemisphere viewers, at least at mid and upper levels, this comet was a washout.
Something weird is going on with a holiday visitor from deep space, and it can easily be seen now in evening skies. In recent days something quite unusual has happened to the comet's tail. Astrophotographers have captured what looks a little bit like a tail within the tail, or what astronomer Tony Phillips calls a "disconnection event."
Multiple bright outbursts have made Comet Leonard stunning photographically and visible without optical aid from southern locations. More disruptions are likely in store as it approaches perihelion.
It’s easy to get tempted by the Web headlines. They make it sound amazing: “Are you ready for the big comet show?” and “Don’t Miss 2021’s Best Comet.” But there’s a problem: Few will see any trace of this comet. It’s far fainter than last year’s Comet Neowise, and that was a challenge for most.
Contradicting Reports That it is Fading
The comet made its close pass by Earth on Sunday and is now heading away from us, but it's also at its brightest now, with some reports of it reaching second magnitude. That means it could be easy to see with the naked eye under the right conditions and with the right vantage point.
What's happening to Comet Leonard? Newly discovered iceball that was expected to light up skies this month appears to be FADING, scientists say
Comet Leonard, which was expected to light up the skies throughout this month, appears to be fading, scientists say - but they don't know why. Since its discovery in January this year, the comet has been fast approaching both the Sun and Earth, at nearly 160,000 miles per hour. But according to scientists, it may already be splitting up less than a year after it was first discovered, or it will begin to split up soon.
Something strange is happening to skywatchers' most anticipated comet of the year. Astronomers first spotted what's been dubbed Comet Leonard in January 2021, and soon skywatchers were eagerly anticipating December and January, when the comet was due to pass by first Earth, then the sun. But by late November, observers noticed something strange. The comet should be getting brighter as it approaches the sun, instead, it seems to be fading.
(CNN) There is a new comet in town, and December is your only chance to see it before disappears forever. Astronomers say that Comet Leonard is our best and brightest comet to see in 2021. As the comet nears the sun, it brightens, which is why the weeks leading up to this event make the comet easier to see.
Now is the time to start tracking Comet C/2021 A1 Leonard, as it starts its dawn dive sunward. Current predictions have the comet reaching +4th magnitude, and it may flirt with naked eye brightness. The comet passes just 0.233 AU (21.7 million miles or 34.9 million kilometers) from the Earth on December 12th, another plus.
Comet 2021 A1 (LEONARD) has now broken out of the cometary pack to brighten up and shine close to naked-eye magnitude (+7.2) at the time of writing (27 November). All the indications look good for it at the very least to become marginally visible to the naked-eye and a nice object through a pair of binoculars at some time while its accessible from UK skies during the first ten days or so December.
Sharp-eyed skywatchers are getting ready to see a comet glide past Earth next month, in its first visit for about 70,000 years. The comet, called C/2021 A1 Leonard, was discovered at the start of this year on January 3 by Gregory J. Leonard, a senior researcher at the Department of Planetary Sciences at the University of Arizona.
Now is the time to start tracking Comet C/2021 A1 Leonard, as it starts its dawn dive sunward. The days following New Year's 2021 saw a comet discovery with potential. On the night of January 3, exactly one year to the day prior to perihelion, astronomer Gregory J. Leonard working at the Mount Lemmon Observatory near Tucson Arizona discovered the first long-period comet of the year, C/2021 A1 Leonard.
How, When And Where To See Comet Leonard: The Ultimate Guide To Seeing The ‘Christmas Comet’ In December And On Christmas Day
Have you seen C/2021 A1 (Leonard) —a.k.a. “Comet Leonard”—yet? Discovered on January 3, 2021 by Greg Leonard, a senior research specialist at Arizona’s Mount Lemmon Observatory, Comet Leonard is potentially going to become an object visible to binocular and even naked eyes. It’s predicted to reach around magnitude 4 or brighter in December 2021 (for the latest, follow it on Twitter).
We examine circumstances and expectations for the current apparition of Comet Leonard, which may become the year’s brightest comet. Predicting a newly discovered comet's brightness is no easy business. Astronomers often use the power-law formula to make visibility forecasts, but an equation can fail to account for a comet's essential unpredictability.
Comet Leonard: Our Future ‘Christmas Comet’ Is Headed For Venus, Say Scientists—And We’ve Just Found A Second One
As I previously reported, last summer’s Comet NEOWISE looks set to be followed-up by a “Christmas Comet” called Leonard. C/2021 A1 (Leonard)—discovered at Arizona’s Mount Lemmon Observatory on January 3, 2021 by Greg Leonard, a senior research specialist—will reach its perihelion (closest approach to the Sun) on January 3, 2022. Also, just reported is a new possibly bright comet called C/2021 O3 (PanSTARRS). “O3” is destined to become a visible comet—either through binoculars or possibly naked-eye—in early May, 2022.
TAMPA, Fla — Last summer, sky lovers everywhere were able to watch Comet NEOWISE streak brightly across our sky. In 2021, a new comet may bring a celestial show. The comet is called Comet Leonard, cataloged C/2021 A1, and was discovered by astronomer Gregory J. Leonard on Jan. 3 at the Mount Lemmon Observatory just northeast of Tucson, Arizona.
A new comet is on its way in toward the sun, with prospects that it may become bright enough to see with the unaided eye by year's end. The object in question is Comet Leonard, catalogued C/2021 A1 and was discovered by astronomer Gregory J. Leonard on Jan. 3 at the Mount Lemmon Observatory, also known as the Mount Lemmon Infrared Observatory.
Officially named C/2021 A1, Leonard is one of the most promising space snowballs of this young year. Comet Leonard was discovered by its namesake Greg Leonard, a senior research specialist at the University of Arizona, via the Mount Lemmon Observatory on Jan. 3.
Should We Get Ready For Another Naked-Eye ‘Comet Of The Century?’ ‘Comet Leonard’ Just Appeared From Nowhere
Hot on the heels of last summer’s Comet NEOWISE it’s looking like the northern hemisphere might just get another bright comet in 2021. Discovered last week, new images of Comet Leonard appear to show the dusty visitor to the Solar System already has a bright nucleus and a tail.
War in Kashmir
India and Pakistan have fought two major wars on the current timeline: one in December 1971 and the other in May-July 1999 (28, 4 x 7, years apart). The highest casualties that resulted from any of the military confrontations fought between India and Pakistan, including one in 1947 and another in 1965, occurred during the brief 1971 war. As in 1971, it seems likely that Pakistan will launch the opening attack using its air forces, probably in Kashmir and perhaps also in other places. As was the case in 1999, the danger of conflict turning into a mutual nuclear holocaust between both nations is even greater now than in the past.
Ironically, with all eyes on the Middle East, especially Iran, Iraq, Syria, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, threats from North Korea and China, protests continuing in Serbia (since 2017), and fighting continuing in eastern Ukraine (since 2014), it may well be that a back door to World War III will be opened in South-Central Asia, with India and Pakistan fighting a full scale war over Kashmir, one that turns nuclear. In little time China, Afghanistan and North Korea would side with Pakistan and Russia or the US (or both) would side with India. I suppose that is the only good news: most likely Russia and the US would be allies in such a war and not adversaries. But the Chinese and North Korean nuclear arsenals would cause horrific damage to both countries all the same.
If the current period of historical correction continues, this event may be stalled until July 2022.
A Pakistani soldier was killed in border clashes with Indian forces in the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir on Thursday, Pakistan’s military has said. The soldier was killed in Satwal sector on the Pakistani side of the Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border that divides Kashmir into two parts controlled by Pakistan and India.
A civilian has been killed and three others wounded by Indian shelling in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Pakistan’s military has said. A 50-year-old woman died and the other civilians – including a four-year-old child – were wounded in the incidents in the Tatta Pani and Jandrot areas on Tuesday, as tensions remained high between the South Asian neighbours in the disputed region.
Islamabad, Pakistan – Two Pakistani soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire with Indian troops at the heavily militarised Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed mountainous territory of Kashmir, Pakistan’s military said.
Ahead of the sixth phase of the District Development Council elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops Saturday carried out “intense” mortar shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district’s Balakot.
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan said Wednesday that two of its soldiers had been killed in "intense" military clashes with India in disputed Kashmir. In a late-night statement, military spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar accused Indian forces of initiating the fighting in violation of a cease-fire on the so-called Line of Control, which splits Kashmir between the two nuclear-armed rival countries.
THE "LINE OF CONTROL" ( Lo C) that wends across the rugged valleys of the former princely state of Jammu & Kashmir is something of a bellwether. It marks the spot Indian and Pakistani forces had reached when they agreed on a ceasefire in their war over Kashmir in 1948.
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN - Pakistan and rival India say fierce military clashes across their frontier in disputed Kashmir have killed at least 13 people and wounded many more on both sides, with each country accusing the other of initiating the fight.
At least 10 civilians and five security personnel have been killed in cross-border shelling between India and Pakistan, in one of this year’s deadliest days along the heavily militarised frontier separating the nuclear-armed rivals, officials said.
Second Korean War Becomes
"Half World War"
The "Great City" of the United States (NYC) will be destroyed by rockets, and the West Coast will be invaded by Asians, but they will be beaten back ... Immediately the revenge comes across the large water. However, the yellow dragon invades Alaska and Canada simultaneously ...
After combat and naval battle, the great Neptune at his highest belfry: The Red adversary

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may order an invasion of South Korea and Japan, launching missiles at Seoul and Tokyo. South Korea, Japan, and the US may respond by sending naval and air forces to the region. The US would probably launch a number of SLBMs at North Korea, possibly nuclear-armed ones, destroying Pyongyang and other cities. Because of this, China and possibly Russia would then enter the war as an ally of North Korea. Needless to say, if China enters the war it will also overrun Taiwan and the Spratly islands currently in dispute.
Nostradamus predicts that the "great Ocean" will be placed "into terror" by an enemy associated with the color red ("communism"). If the great Ocean is the Pacific Ocean, then the enemy will come from North Korea or China or both.
Angelique is also a first name similar to Angela and Angelina (possible female president?).
The June 2020 dating may be further altered by my March 2016 prediction of an invasion of South Korea happening by November 2017 that seemingly "failed" but is actually still tardy by 2 years and 2 months (and counting a few months more possibly). In that particular scenario, the precedent was established by the North Korean artillery attack on Yeonpyeong Island in November 2010, seven years earlier. I had accurately predicted the 2010 attack on the island back in November 2008.
Thus, this projected June 2020 event could occur as early as January 2020.
Hopefully this period of base 7 correction will stall such a war until either March or August 2022 ... if it happens at all.
Once again, it being the 70th anniversary of the Korean War this year must not be overlooked, even if nothing (hopefully) should come of it.

Husband and Wife Death: A Murder-Suicide
or an Accident?
This is a different timeline Kennedy appears in, one in which the wife, and possibly other family members, dies with her husband. For major male celebrities, this has only happened twice in recent memory: in 1978 and again in 1999 ... 21 (3 x 7) years apart. The next vector should be July 2020.
The first case involved Hollywood legend Gig Young and his new wife, 31-year-old German magazine editor Kim Schmidt. On October 19, 1978, three weeks after his marriage to Schmidt, the couple were found dead. Police surmised that Young shot his wife and then himself. The murder-suicide was carried out with a Smith & Wesson .38-calibre revolver. Young shot his wife through the head and then shot himself through the roof of his mouth in what appeared to be a suicide pact. After an investigation, police stated Young had acted on the spur of the moment and his actions were not planned. His motive remains unclear.
21 years later famed financier and magazine publisher John F. Kennedy Jr., son of the assassinated US president, was killed on the night of July 16, 1999, along with his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and sister-in-law Lauren Bessette when his plane inexplicably nosedived into the cold Atlantic waters off the coast of Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. The National Transportation Safety Board determined that the crash probably happened after Kennedy, who was inexperienced at flying his plane alone at night, became disoriented in haze.
Some conspiracy theorists claim the accident was a murder. One recent Facebook post declared "JFK Jr was declared the frontrunner for the NY Senate seat in 1999. Days later his plane crashed, making Hillary Clinton the newly elected senator." This statement has since been labeled "false" by PolitiFact although the murder conspiracy theory was treated quite seriously in the book JFK JR Murdered: Cover-up & Conspiracy to Kill JFK Jr. by Paul Dawson (2017).
In any event, between the suicide-murder of Gig Young and Kim Schmidt or the plane crash that killed JFK Jr. and his wife and sister-in-law, we have two possible scenarios for July 2020 (or April 2020 if three months earlier than July 1999 since July 1999 was three months earlier than October 1978). Another murder-suicide of a major male celebrity and his wife, one or both who may be an actor or a pop singer. OR a horrific accident of some kind, plane or car crash, that kills a major male celebrity and his wife and possibly other family members or friends.
There is a third possibility: something that is different from the other two. One of course would be an actor and his wife both being murdered by some person or group. Or it might be another suicide pact, but one not using a gun but by some other means such as hanging. There are no clues of any kind who might be in danger: this is a one time repeater of 1978 and 1999 with a likely 2020 repeat. The link is the death of the spouse.
Other male actors (relatively minor male celebrities compared to Gig Young and JFK Jr) who shot themselves on this same timeline:
Pete Duel (top left and at left) was an American stage, television, and film actor, best known for his starring role as outlaw Hannibal Heyes (alias Joshua Smith) in the television series Alias Smith and Jones. In the early hours of December 31, 1971, Duel died at his Hollywood Hills home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Duel's girlfriend, Dianne Ray (left), was at his home at the time of his death and discovered his body. Ray later told police the two had watched Duel's series Alias Smith and Jones the previous evening. She later went to sleep in another room while Duel stayed up. Sometime after midnight, Duel entered the bedroom, retrieved his revolver and told Ray "I'll see you later." Ray then said she heard a gunshot from another room and discovered Duel's body. According to police, Duel's friends and family said he was depressed about his drinking problem. He had been arrested and pleaded guilty to a driving under the influence accident that injured two people the previous June. Duel's death was later ruled a suicide.
One thing that is disturbing here is that his girlfriend Dianne Ray was in the home at the time. Given how close 1971 was to 1978 (Gig Young) in the timeline, one might wonder how closely a murder-suicide was when Duel shot himself. The entire incident is odd anyway, similar to the 1959 suicide of Superman actor George Reeves.
Actor Benjamin Hendrickson (second from top right) played the role of Harold "Hal" Munson Jr., the Chief of Detectives for the mythical town of Oakdale in the daytime soap series As The World Turns for many years. He committed suicide by shooting himself in the head on July 3, 2006, at the age of 55. He had reportedly suffered from depression, and was also filming scenes revolving around the death of his TV daughter Jennifer Munson (played by Jennifer Ferrin) at the time he took his life.
Actor Lee Thompson Young (top right) is best remembered for his role as the title character on the Disney Channel television series The Famous Jett Jackson and as Chris Comer in the movie Friday Night Lights. His last starring role was as Boston police detective Barry Frost on the TNT police drama series Rizzoli & Isles. On August 19, 2013, Young failed to show up to film an episode of Rizzoli & Isles. Police were called to do a well-being check on him at his Los Angeles apartment, where he was found dead. His manager stated that the actor had committed suicide. Police confirmed the cause of death as a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Young, 29, had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, for which he had been taking medication, and had been suffering from depression before his death.
In all of this there is only one inconsistency: the suicide of actor David Strickland who died the same year as JFK Jr. (1999).
He was best known for his role as the boyish rock music reporter Todd Stities in the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan. On March 20, 1999, Strickland and comedian Andy Dick flew from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and spent three days partying in strip clubs.
After checking into Room 20 of the Oasis Motel, Strickland spent time with a prostitute, consumed six bottles of beer, hanged himself with a bed sheet over the ceiling beam, and died during the morning hours of March 22, 1999.
His body was discovered by a private investigator hired by his friend and co-star Brooke Shields when Strickland missed his appearance in Los Angeles Municipal Court for cocaine possession. Evidence of drug use was found in his room. The Clark County Coroner concluded that Strickland's body bore the marks of a previous suicide attempt.
Key clues: major actor, major male celebrity, murder-suicide, suicide pact, plane crash, accident, spouse, wife, sister-in-law, girlfriend, suicide of minor actor, TV actor, gun, shooting, hanging.
ACTOR HAGEN MILLS SUICIDE FOLLOWS ATTEMPTED MURDER OF GIRLFRIEND ERICA PRICE
Before actor Hagen Mills died by suicide on May 19, 2020, he attempted to shoot Erica Price, the mother of their 4-year-old daughter, Mila, according to the Mayfield Police Department. When officers responded to 911 call around 5:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday, they found Price with gunshot wounds to her arm and chest.

Hollywood actor Hagen Mills is dead following an 'attempted murder-suicide' in his native Kentucky. The 29-year-old actor, who appeared in the hit FX series Baskets, reportedly tried to kill former partner Erica Price, 34, at her residence in Mayfield on Tuesday evening. Price was allegedly shot by Mills in both the arm and chest but managed to survive and call police. Mills subsequently turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.
Reality Star, Minor Actress, Model or Singer Found Hanged: La selva dei suicidi
What is an example of major female star? Think in terms of Naomi Watts or Angelina Jolie. Lois Hamilton was not a major star nor were the next ones to be discussed linked to this timeline of misfortune.
The current dating suggests July 2020 as each time it has occurred a month to a few months earlier every seven years. Likewise, if there is a second victim, as there was in 2013, that one could occur in September 2020. Looking at the one-for-one in 1999 and 2006, and the double tragedy in 2013, it would appear that in 2020 there will be two deaths again (or more).
There is a 50% chance that in 2020 there will be a murder made to look like a suicide as was the case with victim #2 in 2006, Adrienne Shelly (or at least a reasonably believable allegation of murder) regardless if there is also a second female celeb who commits suicide that year. The murder made to look like suicide, if it happens, would likely occur in the autumn.
There is a 1 in 4 chance one of the victims will be "sort of well-known," although not a megastar or an icon.
If the victim turns out to be someone extremely famous, it will be a FIRST for this event-timeline.
The most "famous" victim thus far was actress and independent film director Adrienne Shelly, age 40, found hanged from a shower rod on November 1, 2006. Initially regarded as a suicide, it was determined to be a homicide when her killer was captured a week later.
In an attempt to cover up what he thought was an accidental death after he knocked her out during a botched burglary and resulting argument, Diego Pilco dragged her unconscious body into the bathroom and hanged her, still alive, from a shower rod.
The hanging, of course, did kill her.
Was Shelly actually a famous celebrity? She could have been had she not been murdered:
The death of Adrienne Shelly came right when the career of this talented actress appeared to be off and running. Fans of her early work with director Hal Hartley had already discovered her talent in his films, The Unbelievable Truth and Trust, and had watched her do equally compelling work with other directors.
So no, super famous she was not. Apparently not very much at all. And that makes it hard to predict ahead danger to an actor or actress, singer, or whoever when it is someone you have never heard of or you have but any impression they may have made is marginal to say the least.
Pointless to try? Probably, but the base 7 phenomenon is proven every time an event is repeated, regardless of magnitude ... and regardless of whether the event is predicted/anticipated by someone or not. It will most likely happen anyway. And if enough of these happen perhaps one day enough data will be compiled to actually prevent these events from happening anymore in the future. Sort of like Minority Report (2002).

Seven years later in 2013 there were TWO deaths by hanging of starlets. Starlet was the term used in the past to describe a minor film actress and could also apply to a minor recording star with only one or two hit songs. BOTH of these victims shared the same first name: Gia.
One of these cases was extremely WEIRD.
On August 15, 2013, reality TV star Gia Allemand who experienced televised heartbreak on “The Bachelor,” died two days after her boyfriend Ryan Anderson found her hanging in her New Orleans home. The 29-year-old former Maxim model was removed from a life-support machine at a hospital after doctors determined she suffered a “critical loss of brain and organ function.”
The sad tragedy was apparently the result of an argument with her boyfriend. Reportedly she hanged herself with a vacuum cleaner cord tied to the handrail of a spiral staircase in her home after fighting with Anderson that day during lunch. The cord was "wrapped around her neck many times" according to reports.
I now quote myself: "There were strange messages on Twitter by Gia Allemand hours before she hanged herself, the first one an eerie image of trees and an odd message superimposed over them: “Legend says when you can’t sleep at night, it’s because you’re awake in someone else’s dream.”
A forest of gloomy or eerie-looking trees have a very powerful meaning to those Catholics who have read Dante's "Divine Comedy." In the first book, "Inferno," Dante is led by the poet Virgil through the nine circles of Hell, each circle dealing with the eternal punishment of souls for specific sins and transgressions. The seventh circle is broken up into three rings, the middle ring known as the "forest of the suicides." In this gloomy woodland, the souls of those who died by their own hand have been turned into gnarled trees, in some cases their distorted bodies, heads, and faces still discernible. What shape each soul takes is left to the whim of chance.
In Dante's time most suicides were committed by hanging and the branch of a tree often used as a gallows. For Dante, the trees symbolize the state of mind in which suicide is committed. Gia Allemand may have been conveying the idea of suicide on Twitter with her ghostly image of trees. The message also suggests that it may have been someone else's dream (wish) that she commit suicide ... a kind of hypnotic suggestion by a psychic assassin. We have absolutely no idea how many people who commit suicide do so because a long dormant program implanted in their brains has been triggered by some form of autosuggestion or telepathic suggestion.
"Offering," in this context, and most contexts of the Bible, means "sacrifice," whether an animal sacrifice or a human sacrifice. Using Proverbs 21:3 may have been a coded cry for help, or at least understanding, that if she was to die from what was perceived to be an apparent suicide, that it would not have really been a suicide. It would have been an offering ... a human sacrifice ... with Gia an unwilling victim. If so, she likely knew about the dark forces stalking her and their intentions. By using this proverb she may have been pleading to her killers to "do what is right and fair" and not to make a sacrifice of her. Had she lived, she might have exposed these Illuminati assassins as did Tila Tequila who survived her "suicide."
There is a continuity of theme in many base 7 events. Often elements found to exist in one case take on a more powerful meaning the next time an event is repeated. This La selva dei suicidi theme may indicate the next victim or victims of this timeline of suicide will be found hanging in woods near their home(s) or in a large forest (even the Forest of Suicides in Japan).
NOTE: It may have already happened to a male reality TV star. Love Island’s Mike Thalassitis was found hanged in a wood at a North London park on March 16, 2019, a victim of suicide.
'Love Island' star Mike Thalassitis' official cause of death has been revealed as suicide by hanging after the young reality TV star passed away at the age of 26 on Friday. Thalassitis was discovered dead in a woodland close to his home in Essex on Saturday.
A vigil has been held for Mike Thalassitis in the forest that he died. The 26-year-old took his own life last Saturday, with his body being discovered in a park in North London. Nearly a week on from his tragic death, friends and family have paid tribute to Mike by lighting lanterns in the woods.
Less than two months later American-born and British-raised actress Jiah Khan, age 25, was found hanged in her home. There is the repeat of the name Gia (Allemand) but this time spelled Jiah. She was the niece of Pakistani actresses Sangeeta and Kaveeta.
Jiah Khan always aspired to pursue a career in acting and moved to Mumbai for a film career in Bollywood. Much like the case of Adrienne Shelly, Jiah's mother alleged that her daughter may have been killed and made to look as if she committed suicide. Her petition alleged that Jiah may have been hanged after being murdered. Her petition claimed that a person who commits suicide would have his or her eyes popping out and tongue protruding, while in the case of Jiah it was not so. Dr R N Jerajani opined that the depth of ligature marks in Jiah's case was difficult to achieve with a soft material like a dupatta. He further opined that the ligature marks on Jiah's neck were not like the ones usually found on the body of a person who hangs herself from a ceiling fan. The possibility of strangulation is not ruled out in this case, he said in the forensic report. The claim further stated that CCTV camera footage showed that Jiah had entered her house a few minutes before she committed suicide. At that time, she was wearing a track suit but her body was discovered in a night gown. Would a person about to commit suicide change her dress, the petition asks?
Suspicion fell on the boyfriend actor Sooraj Pancholi. At first it could not be proven and a ruling of suicide was upheld. However in January 2017, nearly four years after her death, the prosecution requested that charges of sexual assault and murder be laid against Pancholi. On 31 January 31, 2018, nearly five years after her death, a court in Mumbai charged Sooraj Pancholi with abetting Khan's suicide. The CBI submitted a list of 69 witnesses, including Khan's mother Rabia, the complainant, with the case that finally began in March 2019. The case continues with Sooraj out on bail and about to star in a new film. Thus, no resolution yet in the case of Jiah Khan as a seventh year approaches.
The other trend is a building one thus far: one victim in December 1999 (age 56), one victim in November 2006 (age 40), two victims in August and October 2013 (ages 29 and 25). Thus, there may be two victims in 2020, one or both with some degree of fame or a great deal of fame. Either or both may be very young, teens or 20s, unless the ever younger trend is only a coincidence, then any ages may be involved, 25 to 56. Maybe one of the two will be even older than 20s for the first time. It is also possible there may be more than two ... four if there is a doubling. Months to watch out for: July and September.
PREDICTION PARTIALLY FULFILLED
Love Island presenter Caroline died at the age of 40 in February after taking her own life. The beloved TV star was due to face trial last month after pleading not guilty to assault following an incident with her boyfriend Lewis Burton. Caroline was subjected to abuse from social media trolls in the months before her untimely death.
CAROLINE Flack died after being found hanged at her London home, an inquest heard today. The Love Island star, 40, was tragically discovered by a friend at her flat in Stoke Newington on Saturday. An inquest into her death at Poplar Coroner's Court heard police attended after being flagged down near the property and gave CPR at the scene in a desperate bid to save her.
An inquest into Caroline Flack's death heard on Wednesday how the former 'Love Island' host was found hanged at her home in east London. The British TV presenter was found dead in her apartment last Saturday. This was just a day after she learned that the CPS was pursuing the court case against her, Metro reports.
LONDON (Reuters) - British television presenter Caroline Flack, a former host of the hit show "Love Island", was found hanged in her London home and paramedics were unable to revive her, an inquest heard on Wednesday. News of her death on Saturday has revived a debate about the conduct of tabloid media, which had published an avalanche of stories about her troubled private life.
Third Major Israeli Conflict in Lebanon
Arab-Israeli War With Jordan and Syria also Possible
Israel has already clashed with Hezbollah in Lebanon twice in September and October 2019 as part of its conflict with Iran. Israel's war with Iran has turned Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and the Palestinian territory of Gaza into air strike zones because Iranian forces have taken up positions in those countries to launch missile and rocket attacks into the Golan Heights and northern Israel. The pro-Iranian Hezbollah in Lebanon have twice participated in Iran's air conflict by launching rockets at northern Israel in late 2019. Islamic Jihad in Gaza has also begun attacks on behalf of Iran this year (2020). As a result these countries, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Gaza are called proxies because, officially, they are not in a state of war with Israel although they allow Iran to use their territory to launch attacks. Even so, the status of being a proxy staging ground or being a belligerent has gotten murky more than once. When Israel slams missiles into Damascus, it certainly looks like they are at war with Syria. One could say that for a day here or a day there ... they are. Likewise when a "stray" Syrian missile or rocket hits some part of northern Israel or the Golan.
In any event, a full-blown war in Lebanon like 1982 or 2006 has not happened again, although there have been a few close calls. In July 2020 that may change with Israel and Lebanon engaged in a third major war. Should that occur, regardless of whether or not the cause of the confrontation is actually Iranian provocation, Israel will no longer be involved in a proxy conflict that has thus far been largely defensive in nature and limited to retaliatory air strikes. It will be a total war between Israel and Lebanon involving complete mobilization of Israeli military in the air, on the ground, and at sea. Also, with the Jordan Valley on the table for possible annexation and Syria and Iranian proxies ready for direct combat in the Golan Heights, Lebanon may well be the trigger for an all-out ISRAELI WAR with SYRIA and JORDAN, as well as with IRAN and IRAQ.
In this period of flux (or historical correction), we may watch events unfold until as late as September 2022 before a major war breaks out in that region
Nineteen rockets were fired at northern Israel from Lebanon on Friday morning, sending residents in a number of towns in the Golan Heights and Galilee Panhandle scrambling to shelters. The Hezbollah terror group later acknowledged responsibility for the barrage, its heaviest since the 2006 Second Lebanon War.
BEIRUT (AP) — The militant Hezbollah group fired a barrage of rockets toward Israel on Friday, and Israel hit back with artillery in a significant escalation between the two sides. It was the third day of attacks along the volatile border with Lebanon, a major Middle East flashpoint where tensions between Israel and Iran, which backs Hezbollah, occasionally play out.
Israeli jets struck “terrorist targets’ in the Marjayoun region of South Lebanon early Thursday, Aug. 5, in retaliation for a three-rocket salvo against the Galilee town of Kiryat Shemona a day earlier. This was the first time Israeli had deployed its air force for attacks in Lebanon since the 2006 Lebanon war. It was the IDF’s second response to the rocket attack. First, wide-ranging IDF artillery fire pounded Lebanese border districts in four bursts of one hundred shells.
Israeli fighter jets have launched air raids on neighbouring Lebanon following a second day of rocket fire from across the border. “Earlier today [Thursday], rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory,” the Israeli air force tweeted. “In response … fighter jets struck the launch sites and infrastructure used for terror in Lebanon from which the rockets were launched."
The United Nations peacekeeping force tasked with controlling conflict between Israel and Lebanon is pleading for calm amid a new, persistent escalation along the tense border between the two nations. News of the unrest first emerged Wednesday amid reports of rocket fire from Lebanese territory across the disputed Blue Line boundary and into Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that sirens sounded in the villages of Qiryat Shemona, Kfar Giladi and Tel-Hai.
ISRAEL launched a missile attack on southern Lebanon early today, just hours after air strikes had targeted Iranian forces near the Syrian city of Aleppo. The Israeli army claimed that it was responding to four rockets launched from Lebanon that triggered warning sirens in the Western Galilee region. No details were given of the targets of the Israeli missiles, but there have been weeks of speculation that Israel was considering a military intervention in Lebanon to diminish the influence of Hezbollah.
The Israeli military said its artillery shelled southern Lebanon after two rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Israel’s army said in a statement on Tuesday that aerial defences intercepted one of the rockets, and the second fell in an open area. No injuries or damage were reported.
Child Star Either Attempts or Commits Suicide
2006-07: Two notable attempted suicides
Seven years later, on November 12, 2006, six months after what would have been the May 2006 vector, former child star Lindsay Lohan ("Another World", The Parent Trap) reportedly attempted suicide by overdosing on a deadly cocktail of cocaine and painkillers. The following year, in May 2007, she attempted suicide by slitting her wrists.
2013: Another notable attempt
At this time I don't believe a new base 7 vector was created in 2015 ... Peterson's suicide was a late repeat for 2013.
Given events in 2006-07 and 2013, an attempt would normally be more likely. Unfortunately, former child star Demi Lovato (Barney & Friends) made a serious overdose suicide attempt on July 24, 2018 ... leaving open the high likelihood another child star may actually die in her place two years later in September 2020 (the same as Paris Jackson - Amanda Peterson above).
Unfortunately, 2018 was also the year for a Marilyn Monroe-Sharon Tate-Princess Diana (etc.) timeline of tragic death ... a timeline that was cheated when Demi Lovato ALMOST died from an overdose. That timeline NEVER gets cheated ... if someone survives a suicide attempt, someone else dies two years later. Thus was the case when actress Shelley Long survived a drug overdose suicide bid back in 2004 on the same timeline: two years later actress and indie filmmaker Adrienne Shelly was murdered ... hanged ... and it was made to appear to be a suicide.
Someone will likely take Lovato's place in September 2020. It will be a very major star ... and someone who may also be a former child star. That places former child star Britney Spears, who has a history of suicide attempts, very high on the list.
It's been more than 10 years since Britney Spears infamously shaved her head, and now a new documentary aims to provide context about why the pop star made that decision in 2007. "Britney Spears: Breaking Point" -- which aired on Channel 5 in the U.K.
DEMI LOVATO'S BEST FRIEND AND GLEE CO-STAR, NAYA RIVERA, DROWNS IN FREAK ACCIDENT
The circumstances of her death remain murky. She and her son rented a boat on July 7 and went out on a lake. The pair became missing on that date and the boat was not discovered until a few days later, with her small son, age 4, sleeping on board wearing a life jacket. First reports said that he got on the boat and his mother decided to stay in the lake to swim, after which she disappeared. Her life jacket was not used and still on the boat. Later, the reports said the boy claimed his mother "boosted him" on to the boat and he turned around to see her go under and drown. I suppose this will remain the official version: mother heroically saves son from drowning and in an exhausted state drowns. I find the two reports at odds as the boy appeared calm when first rescued and simply said his mother chose to remain in the water to swim but didn't return.
All the females on this timeline were former child stars who later attempted suicide or died of drugs overdose as adults. Dana Plato was first in 1999 and later former child star Amanda Peterson. Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears both attempted suicide, but failed, as did Paris Jackson. Last year child actress Mya-Lecia Naylor, age 16, hanged herself, apparently a year premature of this timeline. But technically she was still a child star, a child actress, and not a former child star who went on to act (or sing and perform) as an adult.
It would appear her name prefigured the identity of Naya Rivera: Naylor = Naya and Mya almost = Naya.
Also it appears that the link between Demi Lovato (who attempted suicide in 2018) and the woman who would die in 2020 was NOT a name association as was the case between Shelley Long (2004) and Adrienne Shelly (2006). Instead, it was a personal association.
Demi Lovato Reminisces on Playing Naya Rivera’s Girlfriend on ‘Glee’: 'I’ll Forever Cherish the Opportunity'
Demi Lovato is paying tribute to Naya Rivera. The "I Love Me" singer took to Instagram on Monday to share her memories of the late actress. "RIP Naya Rivera. I'll forever cherish the opportunity to play your girlfriend on Glee," Lovato wrote, alongside a slideshow of photos from their time together on the Fox dramedy.
Demi Lovato Will 'Forever Cherish' Starring as Naya Rivera's Girlfriend on 'Glee' Demi Lovato is reacting to the news that Naya Rivera has died after a six day search concluded today after she went missing. The 27-year-old singer posted a tribute...
She was NOT the major female film actress or royalty or pop singer or dancer/entertainer that could have been connected to Demi Lovato.
As a result, regarding the major actress who was to die tragically in 2018, and possibly two years later, I strongly suspect it WAS Margot Kidder. Kidder's death was first reported as natural causes but later revealed to be a suicide. However, a watch remains in effect for the Princess Diana-like actress Angelina Jolie or Donald Trump's "Marilyn Monroe" friend, Kim Kardashian.
'Glee' actress Naya Rivera 'mustered enough energy' to rescue her son 'but not enough to save herself,' authorities say
A body has been found at the Southern California lake where former "Glee" actress Naya Rivera disappeared, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office announced in a tweet Monday.
California authorities announced Monday that they are "confident" that a body they found at a California lake is that of missing actress Naya Rivera. The announcement concludes an extensive search for Rivera, which began six days ago after her 4-year-old son was found alone in a pontoon boat the pair had rented.
Glee actress Naya Rivera missing presumed drowned in lake – with son, 4, found asleep and alone on boat
GLEE actress Naya Rivera is feared dead after going missing on a lake - with her four-year-old son Josey found asleep and alone on a rented boat. Authorities found the little boy shortly before 5pm on Wednesday at Lake Piru, Southern California, with sources telling TMZ he said that his mother had "jumped into the water but didn't come back up".
Naya Rivera has been a fixture on Entertainment Tonight throughout the years. The 33-year-old actress went missing on July 8, after taking a boat ride with her 4-year-old son, Josey, on California's Lake Piru. Though Josey was found safe on the boat, authorities have yet to find Rivera, who is presumed dead.
London - A young British actress who appeared alongside Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in "Cloud Atlas" accidentally ended her own life last April, an inquest by a coroner in London has ruled. Mya-Lecia Naylor died at age 16 due to "misadventure," the ruling reported by BBC News and The Guardian said.
The news of British teen actress Mya-Lecie Naylor's passing broke the hearts of fans and family alike. Now, a coroner has ruled that although she had hanged herself, the death was unintentional. Toby Watkin, the assistant coroner assigned to the case, concluded that Naylor's death was caused by "misadventure," meaning, essentially, that her suicide on April 7 was a mistake.
British actress Mya-Lecia Naylor, who hanged herself at the age of 16 earlier this year, did not mean to die, according to reports. The assistant coroner in the case, Toby Watkin, said Naylor's death was by "misadventure" and was not intentional, according to the Daily Mail.
Jessica Campbell, known for her spectacular performance in the 1999 film Election, was found dead in her bathroom. The actress passed away last month after she collapsed in the bathroom. The reason for her death is still not known. Her family confirmed to TMZ that the actress breathed her last on December 29th in Portland, Oregon. She was 38.
Actress Reese Witherspoon has paid tribute to her Election co-star Jessica Campbell, who recently passed away suddenly at 38. The 1999 comedy-drama was a scathing satire of both American politics as well as High School life.
Jessica Campbell, best known for her role in “Election,” is dead at 38. Campbell, who played Tammy Metzler in the 1999 film, unexpectedly died on Dec. 29, TMZ reported on Wednesday. Her family is still waiting on results from an autopsy conducted by the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s office in Oregon.
Ali Khamenei's October Surprise: Iran Tests Its First Nuclear Device
China and North Korea both conducted their first nuclear test on the current timeline in October (China, 1964; North Korea, 2006). October 2020 should also be a first for another Asian country. That country is most likely to be Iran.
It is also possible that this will instead be the first use of a nuclear weapon by Iran rather than a publicly acknowledged test. They may already have them!
New Jonestown-Style Massacre Brings Mass Suicide Back Into Light
For years now, pollsters and demographers have been chronicling the decline of religion in America. And it's not just religious affiliation that's declining. Along with lower rates of church attendance, religious weddings and religious activities in the household are also waning.
August 21, 2020: The author discusses two secular cults on both right and left, but it is the one on the left, the Cult of Woke centered largely on the BLM (Black Lives Matter) movement now hijacked by anarchists, Marxists and Communists that have already demonstrated their willingness to shed blood, even the blood of children.
I have little doubt that if they called on some of their BLM members to commit mass suicide as a form of, say, political expression, that they would eagerly comply.
That is my first choice of what might happen in November 2020.
However, as the study shows, there are MANY cults in our country, any one of them capable of becoming another Jonestown.
A man arrested Monday night and charged in connection with the deaths of three people whose dismembered bodies were found in a burning dumpster last week has been tied to two other slayings and has confessed to the killings saying he was committing biblical sacrifice. Jason Alan Thornburg, 41, was booked into the Tarrant County Jail at about 11:30 p.m. Monday on a charge of capital murder of multiple persons.
Suspect arrested for ‘killing & dismembering 3 including child’ found in dumpster fire says it was ‘Bible sacrifice’
THREE bodies, including that of a child, were found badly burned in a dumpster in Texas, in what the suspect allegedly claimed was a Biblical "sacrifice" he was "called to commit." Jason Alan Thornburg, 41, was arrested on Monday night by Fort Worth police in connection with the crime. According to an arrest warrant obtained by The Daily Beast, Thornburg slit the throats of his victims and dismembered them, packing their bodies into storage tubs before ultimately setting them on fire.
Hungarian-Ukrainian Revolution and Civil War
On the other hand, neighboring Ukraine (part of which was once Hungary), had a major revolution starting in November 2013 which led to civil war in 2014. By December, many journalists and historians were drawing a parallel between what happened in Hungary in 1956 and what was happening in Ukraine in 2013.
So now we must ask what will happen in November 2020 or thereabouts?
We have restiveness giving way to civil disorder in Hungary, properly speaking, three times (1956, 2006, and 2013) and twice in Ukraine (2004 and 2013-14).
Also, keeping in mind that Transcarpathian Ukraine was once a part of Hungary, we are forced to look at the entire region. It may not be an "either/or" situation this time around but both.
We must also look at adjacent regions such as Moldova and Romania. For all we know it will be a Romanian civil war next time around.
Besides that, we are in a period of historical correction that can make many projected events occur later than what would be normal for base 7 by as much as two years and two months. This gives us a potential late date of January 2023.
As dangers increase of a major two-front war in the Middle East involving Saudi-Iranian and Israeli-Iranian conflicts that also involve Iraq, Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon, prophecy warns such a confrontation will coincide with restiveness in the Balkans, Hungary, and the former territories of "Sarmatia" (modern Ukraine, southern Russia, and the eastern Balkans) and "Lithuania" (now present-day Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, and parts of Poland and Russia).
As the Middle East War grows increasingly more dreadful, taking in all countries of the region and possibly some adjacent ones in North Africa and the Indian subcontinent, revolutions and civil wars will increase in the above-mentioned nations bounding Russia. Two leaders in the Balkans/Hungary and a third, possibly in the former Czechoslovakia, will be assassinated during this period of civil unrest. There will be a short war with Russia that will seem to be resolved, a brief phony peace during which the third leader is assassinated, followed by a Russian invasion of Europe (the true World War III).
But we are getting ahead of ourselves with a future history that may well extend to either the year 2028 or as late as 2037.
And yes this also indicates the developing two-front war in the Middle East will drag on for a number of years, as long as the Syrian Civil War or longer. The final phase of the war in the Middle East will be an Iranian thrust into Turkey and northwards into the Balkans and southern Russia.
In any event the beginning of the troubles in East Europe will likely begin in Hungary and where it almost began in 2014: Ukraine. November 2020 is the next danger point. If the current period of historical correction continues, this event may be stalled until January 2023.
It's six months since the fraudulent election in Belarus sparked mass protests against Alexander Lukashenko's authoritarian regime. The collapse of his statist model of capitalism has fed mass discontent with his rule — but the liberal opposition's own promises of change also drew skepticism among working-class Belarusians.
Police in Belarus arrested more than 160 protesters on Sunday who were calling for authoritarian President Alexander Lukashenko to resign, the Associated Press reports. Hundreds of people gathered in Belarus’s capital city of Minsk, reports the AP, with many waving the red and white opposition flag.
Moscow — Anti-government protests continued on Monday in the capital of Belarus for the 128th day. Scores of demonstrators hit the streets of Minsk calling for President Alexander Lukashenko to resign, despite hundreds of people being detained for doing the same thing just hours earlier, and tens of thousands over the past few months.
MINSK — This week marks the fourth month of protests following Belarus’ falsified presidential elections on August 9. Neither authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko nor the protesters determined to oust him are giving up — but the violence and repression being meted out to pro-democracy activists is growing.
Thousands of demonstrators marched in the Belarusian capital Minsk and elsewhere on Sunday as weekly protests demanding the resignation of veteran President Alexander Lukashenko continued, prompting police to arrest more than 100 people.
Belarusian authorities detained more than 300 protesters in the capital Minsk on Sunday during the 18th weekend of demonstrations after an election, widely recognized as rigged, gave Belarus’ authoritarian leader another term,The Associated Press reported.
Police in Belarus detained 313 people during Sunday's latest demonstrations against President Alexander Lukashenko to step down, the Interior Ministry said. Thousands attended protests in the capital, Minsk, and other cities, which have rocked Belarus since Lukashenko's disputed re-election in August. Opposition supporters and the European Union have refused to recognise the result, saying the vote was rigged.
Belarusian security forces detained hundreds of protesters at rallies in Minsk the opposition had billed as “the march of neighbours”, local police and a rights group reported. Thousands of demonstrators met at various locations on Sunday, mostly in remote residential areas of the capital, and marched through the streets demanding the resignation of President Alexander Lukashenko, a witness said.
Belarus police have arrested more than 200 people in the capital, Minsk, during the latest anti-government protests ignited by a disputed presidential election in August, human rights activists have said. Thousands took to the streets on Sunday, and police used stun grenades to disperse crowds, several Belarusian media outlets reported.
Opposition protesters remain defiant in Belarus despite police brutality, 100 days after they first took to the streets to denounce the re-election of President Alexander Lukashenko. Police in helmets and body armour throw women holding flowers and balloons into police vans. Officers tear-gas elderly people on a pensioners' march.
Thousands of Belarusians have protested against the death in police custody of a military veteran and children's art teacher arrested for his opposition to the authoritarian leader, Alexander Lukashenko. Roman Bondarenko, a 31-year-old artist, was pummelled by several men believed to be plainclothes police officers in a Minsk courtyard known as the Square of Change on Wednesday in a dispute over ribbons indicating support for anti-government protests.
Libyan Terrorists Attack Italy and Germany
ISIS was driven out of Libya by military strongman Khalifa Hifter (aka Khalifa Haftar), but there are indications that terrorism is returning in the form of jihadists from countries such as Sudan and also from pro-Assad Syrian militants (since Bashar al-Assad is now an ally of Hifter). Also included in the region's conflict capable of stirring up trouble across the Mediterranean is the Wagner Group, Russian paramilitary units allied to Hifter and the same organization that stirred up rebellion and civil war in eastern Ukraine in 2014.
My best guess is that with NATO nation Turkey supporting the UN-approved GNA in Tripoli, and Putin and Assad backing Hifter and the LNA, the conflict could somehow become part of a NATO vs Russian confrontation, especially if the two are on the verge of war in Syria or Ukraine or Hungary. In that case, if NATO nations Italy and Germany side with Turkey against Hifter, Assad, and Russia, the attacks on Rome and Berlin would not be terrorist in nature but military, probably by Russia acting on behalf of Hifter's LNA as well as it's own interests in Central and Eastern Europe.
